ConsIt's a bit disappointing that it doesn't lather well, so you need to use more product, which means it runs out quickly

The granules weren't irritating to my skin. After washing, my face didn't feel squeaky clean, but rather smooth and soft like a baby's bottom!
ConsHowever, I felt the lather was a bit lacking. Instead of rich, fluffy foam, there was only a small amount of bubbles, which was slightly disappointing.

I need more hydrating products in fall/winter compared to summer. In summer, I prefer light products with ample hydration, while in winter I use moisturizers with a bit more richness and more hydrating toners. What I look for in skincare: Although I have oily skin, I focus a lot on hydration. I've learned that balancing oil and moisture is key to managing issues like excess sebum, pigmentation, and pores. When I was younger, I mistakenly used harsh, oil-controlling products like mattifying sunscreens and skincare for oily skin with little moisturizing power. This led to a cycle of flaking skin, acne breakouts, pigmentation, acne scars, and enlarged pores. Thanks to YouTube and Hwahae, I discovered that even oily skin needs sufficient hydration to actually reduce sebum production. Now, when choosing skincare, I prioritize products that balance oil and moisture. I rarely wear makeup, maybe once every two months. I do apply the recommended amount of sunscreen daily, though I struggle with reapplication. I use BHA pads twice a week for exfoliation and sebum control. Product review: 1. Hydration After trying Innisfree's Blueberry Cleansing Foam, I realized that foam cleansers don't have to leave your skin feeling tight! Since then, I've avoided cleansers that make my skin feel tight or squeaky clean. I had bought a Cellmax cleansing foam without much research, and it was exactly that type of harsh cleanser. I quickly sold it and found this product through Difa's video. It's amazing - my skin feels soft and not tight at all after cleansing! It cleanses just the right amount. 2. Daily exfoliation and sebum control with BHA I've used cleansing foams with BHA before and liked them, but they were too expensive to repurchase. That's why I ended up with that Cellmax one... After that disappointment, I decided to trust the expert (Difa) and try this product. I'm very satisfied. I only use foam cleansers in the morning since I use cleansing water at night. This cleanser gently removes the sebum accumulated overnight and yesterday's dead skin cells every morning. Cleansing power is about how well a product removes impurities and sebum, and for oily skin, cleansers with BHA are really ideal. In my opinion, regular cleansing foams don't manage sebum well enough. BHA cleansers are the best. 3. Low pH Some recommend using a slightly alkaline foam cleanser once or twice a week for oily skin, but I don't feel the need to keep an extra cleanser just for that. This low pH product works well for me, especially when combined with BHA pads twice a week. I think it's better to choose cleansers that don't disrupt the skin's natural pH. When the pH balance is off, it can lead to various issues (you can easily find information about this on YouTube). I'm quite sensitive to this, which is why I failed with that Cellmax product that turned out not to be low pH. The difference was really noticeable. Some people think low pH products have less cleansing power, but that's not because of the pH itself. It's because many low pH products are designed to be gentle overall.
Cons1. Requires a bit more product to create sufficient foam Strangely, it seems to produce less foam compared to products I've used before. Previously, I could use a smaller amount to get the same amount of foam, but now I need to use more. This makes me feel like I'm going through the product faster.
TipI tend to accumulate sebum especially on my nose and chin. I create foam in my hands, then focus on massaging my nose first, followed by my chin. After tackling these oily areas, I move on to other areas where sebum tends to accumulate. This method allows for daily sebum management. If you follow this with a skincare routine that balances oil and moisture, and finish with proper sun protection, you can maintain a clean-looking nose even without special treatments (though blackheads won't disappear completely). This assumes you're also doing periodic exfoliation and sebum control treatments.

The granules aren't irritating at all. After cleansing, you don't feel much tightness, and it gives a gentle, non-irritating cleansing sensation! I think it would be especially great for those with dry skin.
ConsThe lather isn't thick and rich, so if you prefer a luxurious foam, this might not be to your liking!

First off, the ingredients are super gentle! I checked on Hwahae, and out of 37 ingredients, there wasn't a single risky one. It wasn't bad at all, actually better than I expected! There was zero irritation, and barely any scent (which is great for my super sensitive skin). The cleanser has these little bits inside that seem to help with a more thorough cleanse. The foam is incredibly rich and removes full makeup well (I use it for my second cleanse). After washing, my skin feels hydrated. I love that there's no deep dryness!
ConsNothing major, but sometimes it can be a bit tricky to work up a good lather.
TipI always make the foam by hand with a bit of water before cleansing. The foam disappears quite quickly when I use my bubble maker from Daiso - I think I'm messing up the amount somehow.
