ConsI've tried three or four different toners, but this one stung the most out of all I've used. I've never found other brands' products irritating, so I applied it liberally, but it even made my eyes sting! I'd recommend this only to those with steel-like skin. My skin rarely reacts badly, but this completely upset it.

Especially before applying makeup, I prefer layering toners rather than applying thick creams, and this one feels more hydrating than others even with less product. Initially, there's a slight slippery feeling, but it quickly disappears with gentle patting. Despite its moisturizing formula, it doesn't feel heavy on the skin, which I found satisfying. It seems to strike a good balance between comfort and hydration. No skin irritation I have super sensitive skin, so I always check the ingredients before use. Even when I buy products after reviewing ingredients on the Hwahae app, sometimes they don't suit me, while products I expect not to work occasionally do. My skin is very sensitive and unpredictable. In conclusion, I didn't experience any noticeable irritation with this product.
ConsEye irritation... While I didn't have any major issues with the product itself, I was shocked by how much it irritated my eyes. Of course, any product can cause discomfort if it gets in your eyes, but there are some that sting much more than others. This isn't even a cream, it's a water-based product, but if you apply a bit too much near your eyes, it can naturally get in, even in small amounts. I was startled by how much it stung. It felt like a burning sensation.

Anyway, I tried the Toleriane toner and loved how moisturizing it was, so I went through about 3 large bottles before I started getting a bit bored with it. So I decided to try the Cicaplast emulsion. After using it for about 20 days, here's a comparison: [Absorption] Toleriane: Feels like water mixed with oil Cicaplast: It's like Toleriane minus the oiliness, with a drier feel and some foam added. If you apply a bit too much, you get tiny bubbles. This can make it feel a bit soapy if you over-apply, but if you use too little, it feels dry. [Skin changes] Toleriane: I'm prone to blemishes, but I used this for a long time without any issues. That said, I didn't notice any dramatic improvements in my skin texture either. Cicaplast: It's too early to tell since I haven't been using it long. I'm getting some small pimples, but I'm not sure if it's because of this. However, I might go back to Toleriane just because of how it absorbs.
ConsIt stung when I first applied it. I thought I wouldn't be able to use it, but as I kept applying, it became more tolerable. + I have atopic dermatitis, so sometimes I scratch my hands and get wounds. When this happens, this toner really stings on those areas.

ConsI think the ingredients didn't agree with my skin. My face felt a stinging sensation and my lips swelled up. For hours, my lips were puffy in spots, itchy, and very painful - like I'd gotten filler injections. It seems to be an allergic reaction. Even though the ingredients look good, I'm not sure what caused this. This is the first time I've had such a reaction to a cosmetic product, so I was quite shocked. (If anyone knows what might have caused this, could you please leave a comment?)
TipThe texture is similar to a toner, so be careful as it can spill easily.

ConsAs soon as I applied it, I experienced an unbearable tingling and itching sensation... And I don't even have sensitive skin.

The lightweight formula is great for adding moisture without feeling heavy. It's also perfect for layering multiple times!
ConsUnfortunately, when I applied this product, my skin felt hot and tingly. I couldn't use it for long due to the discomfort, so I gave it to a friend who didn't experience any irritation. If you have even slightly sensitive skin, I recommend doing a patch test before using it fully.

ConsThose with sensitive skin should be cautious. Sometimes I feel a burning sensation and tingling after application

After it absorbs, my skin feels firm and supple. It's not like a watery toner, but rather seems more hydrating than typical toners or skin lotions.
ConsWhile my skin wasn't in great condition, other products were fine. But as soon as this touched my face, it stung so badly I thought I was dying. After a few minutes, I looked in the mirror and my face was bright red and burning, so I immediately stopped using it. If you have super sensitive skin or a compromised skin barrier, please make sure to test this product in-store before buying!

However, I'm having regrets now. I have super sensitive skin that often gets irritated, and I have very dry skin. La Roche-Posay products are great for when my skin is acting up, and this toner is known for its barrier-strengthening ingredient, panthenol, which it contains a lot of!
ConsRecently, my skin became irritated due to stress, and it was feeling very sensitive. I tried putting this product in a mist bottle and spraying it on my face, hoping it wouldn't sting and would calm my skin. But to my surprise, it made my skin feel incredibly tingly and uncomfortable. It caused much more irritation than other toners, which really upset me. I've stopped using it for now. I'm planning to try it again when my skin improves, but the trauma from how much it stung before is making me hesitant to reach for it!
TipIt's so strange because this toner-emulsion is meant for sensitive skin and is even safe for pregnant women. I don't understand why it's only reacting this way with me. It's also quite pricey for an Olive Young toner. I bought it specifically to use when my skin was acting up, not for everyday use, and I'm really disappointed!

It's excellent for soothing and provides intense hydration, helping to restore skin when it's not at its best.
ConsWhen your skin is in poor condition, you might experience a slight tingling sensation upon application, but it usually subsides quickly. If the tingling and redness persist, discontinue use immediately!
