I loved how beautifully it set after application, and the skin finish seemed pretty decent! There was a slight yellow tinge and a bit of darkening, which was somewhat disappointing For those with dry skin, it would work noticeably better if you exfoliate to remove dead skin cells before using - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinJul 7, 2023
It's just a standard foundation. I used to use Luna concealer, then switched to Espoir, and now I've changed again. Unlike when I used Espoir, this one feels particularly rich in oils. It seems to increase sebum production, so I'm planning to stick with Luna for concealer only. - Hwahae UserNormal SkinRecommendedJun 2, 2023
When I use this before going out, I hardly need to touch up my makeup. It creates a beautiful complexion that lasts, which I love. After applying it to the skin, it sets quickly and becomes difficult to spread. You have to work fast to blend it in properly. - rl**********Combination SkinAcne SkinEnlarged PoresMar 9, 2023
Works well for cool skin tones I have a winter cool skin tone with a bit of redness on my cheeks. The Luna Long Lasting Foundation in shade 21 gives me just the right amount of coverage - not too much, not too little. It subtly brightens and evens out my complexion naturally. Great staying power The longevity is pretty good in my experience. Sometimes I'm out until late night or early morning after applying makeup in the morning, and I'm too lazy for touch-ups. I might just pat on some cushion after meals. Even then, it doesn't break down badly. There are foundations that really fall apart, but this one holds up decently. Good for skin health I don't usually check ingredients for makeup products (only for skincare), but I've been using this for over a year without any itching or blemishes. I've had foundations that made my skin feel itchy right after application, but this one has been fine. However, looking at the Hwahae reviews now, I see some people might not tolerate it well, so it's best to patch test first. Can be a bit drying When I try to dot it on different areas of my face (cheeks, forehead, nose, chin) before blending it all at once with a sponge, the first dots dry quite quickly. This makes it a bit challenging to blend everything evenly. Transfer issues It does transfer quite a bit! Sometimes when I'm in a rush and don't apply it carefully, it feels like it doesn't fully adhere to the skin. I'd say the adherence isn't particularly strong. Hydrate well beforehand! When I was in a hurry and skimped on my skincare routine before applying this foundation, I noticed it looked dry and cracked. It works much better when I properly let my moisturizer and sunscreen absorb first. Try using a spatula! I used to just squeeze the foundation onto the back of my hand and start bouncing away with a sponge. But now I use a spatula to spread it on my face first, then blend with a sponge. It seems to adhere much better this way! I learned this technique from watching some YouTube videos. - ji******Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedFeb 10, 2023
I've been using this for a year and a half, and it's the epitome of a reliable product. It makes your skin look naturally flawless. While it has a matte finish, there's a subtle glow too. Amazingly, it barely transfers, though it might leave a bit on your mask. The shade is like a 21.4 - it has a yellow undertone that works well for naturally yellow skin tones or those with redness. It's fantastic for canceling out acne redness. It doesn't emphasize pores and evens out the complexion beautifully. Though no one around me uses it, it's a hidden gem that makes my skin look the best among my peers. It tends to melt a bit in summer. As many reviews mention, it can accentuate dry patches on dry skin, causing a white cast. It might struggle to completely cover freckles. As someone with dry skin, I'm not sure about its longevity, but it can crack along fine lines in winter. For dry skin, applying ample skincare before makeup prevents pilling and ensures a smooth application. This might just be me, but dabbing a bit of hydrating serum on areas that appear white helps tremendously. Also, this foundation makes your skin look incredibly clear in photo booths. - wr********Combination SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsRecommendedFeb 4, 2023
It's so hydrating and provides great coverage. I'm using it for the third time now. The staying power is excellent too! The pump gets dirty quite quickly. Without setting it with powder, it tends to transfer a lot. - qk**********Oily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedJan 4, 2023
My skin type: Acne-prone, with blemishes, hyperpigmentation, scars, visible pores, and oily. The shade is perfect - not too light, not too dark. It's the quintessential shade 21. The coverage is phenomenal, easily one of the best foundations I've ever used. It's truly amazing! Unfortunately, it doesn't hold up well. Since I have oily skin, it tends to mix with the oil and break down over time. As hours pass, the oil comes through, making the skin look uneven. It's disappointing, especially since this happened even when I used a primer. - ba****Combination SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedNov 3, 2022
The thick consistency provides good coverage. It also adheres well to the skin. However, it tends to accentuate dead skin cells. Due to its thick texture, it lacks hydration, which may cause it to lift easily after some time. - rt****Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinAtopic SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRecommendedOct 29, 2022
Highly recommended foundation! It's not too thin or thick, with just the right amount of coverage. The shade isn't overly pink or yellow - it's perfectly balanced and beautiful. It's neither too oily nor too dry, but if I had to be picky, it's slightly on the moisturizing side (for summer oily skin). It gives a lovely glow that looks stunning. There's nothing to complain about - I'm completely satisfied and highly recommend this product. The photo might make it look small, but that's not the case at all. It's actually quite large with plenty of product. No specific tips, but since the sun protection is minimal, make sure to apply a proper sunscreen in the step before this foundation. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinRecommendedAug 3, 2022
Coverage: I was amazed at how well this foundation covers with just one layer. It's impressive what it can do on its own! Texture: If you're looking for a moisturizing foundation, this might not be for you. However, if you prefer a matte finish, I highly recommend giving this a try! Longevity: I wore it for up to 4 hours, and it only showed minimal signs of fading. That's pretty good in my book! Transfer: You need to be careful when applying this makeup. It transfers quite easily, so the adherence to the skin isn't the best.
