I bought this after hearing it's famous for smudging eyeliner. When swatched on my wrist, it seemed to fade quickly when rubbed, making me worry about its staying power. However, the color payoff is actually intense, making it look natural even as an eyeliner substitute. The pigmentation is incredibly strong. It's a brown shade with subtle green and gold shimmer that sparkles beautifully. It's fantastic for eyeliner and smudging! Now I understand why it's a professional-grade product. The price is a bit of a letdown. Well, it's NARS after all... Still, it's quite expensive.

It applies smoothly, has great color payoff, and gives a subtle yet luxurious look that's perfect for the inner corner of the eye. However, mine broke while I was carrying it around. It seems to crumble easily if it gets a bit dry... Such a shame! It might be better to keep it at home to prevent it from breaking.

However, despite this, Galapagos is still Galapagos. To be honest, while many companies in our country have tried to benchmark this product and release similar ones, they're just imitations - absolutely not the real Galapagos. Galapagos may be expensive, but it's a must-have due to its versatility and beauty. (It's great as a point shadow, for softening eyeliner, and for eyebrows - see the tips section for usage methods). Pros: Intense pigmentation, minimal excess, irreplaceable color and pearl finish, easy to use The downside is, of course, the price. I wish they'd offer hot deals like 50% off Christmas sales like they do in the US When using for eyebrows, first apply a slightly darker shade than your usual base. Then, use a tip brush like you would with an eyebrow mascara to brush it through. This creates a beautiful, not too harsh look.

Great as an eyeliner alternative and for softening existing eyeliner. When I'm feeling lazy, I use a brush to apply it like eyeliner. Occasionally, applying it above my eyeliner creates an incredibly natural look. While the price is steep, the amount is so generous that I use it daily without worrying about running out. Despite the ample amount, the price point is still a bit disappointing.

The shimmer is gorgeous, yet it looks so natural when applied. The color payoff is fantastic, making it great for lining as well. It's perfect for creating a smoky eye when blended out. Overall, it's incredibly versatile and a great addition to any makeup collection. If you rub your eyes, you'll end up with a glitter party on one side and color separation on the other! It's best to use a good brush for application. Be careful with thick brushes though - if you don't control the amount well, you might end up with some excess fallout.
