A pinker version of MAC's Strobe Cream. It's closer to a shimmery glow than just moisturizing. Hwahae! I'm not sure if it's as good as its fame suggests. It's more about the glow than simple hydration. - 08*******Dry SkinRecommendedMar 17, 2019
MAC Strobe Cream in Red Light Perfect for my dark skin with a slight yellow undertone! After skincare, I apply it smoothly before foundation for better adherence and a brighter complexion. For a natural glow, I dab a bit more on my cheekbones and forehead after foundation! While there's nothing particularly disappointing, it's more suitable for fall and winter than summer. For summer, I'd recommend the Strobe Body Lotion if you prefer shorter clothes or want to add a glow to your arms and legs! Rather than mixing it with foundation, apply it smoothly before or after foundation. This gives you a natural glow without needing a highlighter! - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinRecommendedDec 19, 2018
I love how it gives a subtle glow and evens out my complexion. I received this as a gift, so I couldn't test the color myself before purchasing. However, when I apply this before my cushion foundation after my skincare routine, it adds a nice glow and reduces the drying effect of my somewhat dry cushion. The glow isn't excessive, making my skin look healthy. I'm definitely considering repurchasing and would recommend it. I've heard this product comes in various shades. I'd recommend trying different colors at the store to find the one that best matches your complexion. For an even more effective complexion enhancement, I recommend mixing it with a slightly brightening moisturizer with SPF. This combination not only adds a beautiful glow but also provides more noticeable skin tone correction! - Hwahae UserNormal SkinAcne SkinRecommendedApr 13, 2018
It gives a subtle, natural glow! I have a lot of yellow undertones in my skin, so I bought the Red Light shade, and it seems to correct my complexion well. The foundation seems to make my skin look a bit oilier more quickly. The price is quite steep, unfortunately. - so*****Oily SkinSebum/BlackheadsEnlarged PoresMar 3, 2018
It gives a natural glow that beautifully enhances your complexion! Plus, even though I have very oily skin, it seems to improve the longevity of my makeup. It feels a bit sticky. If you prefer a powdery finish, you might find this slightly uncomfortable. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinSep 23, 2017
I've been using Pink Light so well. It applies smoothly and works like a highlighter. My skin is super sensitive and prone to irritation. I was using Pink Light just fine, but when I bought and tried Red Light, my face reacted as if it was burned. My skin flared up so badly that I had to go to the emergency room. If you have sensitive or reactive skin, I strongly recommend going to a MAC store during the day and asking an employee for a tester before purchasing. - gm******Oily SkinAcne SkinAug 18, 2017
At first, it seemed a bit oily, making my makeup look like it might slide off. But when I applied just a small amount to my face, it worked wonderfully as a base. My complexion tends to look sallow, especially after wearing makeup for a while, but the pink tint in this product seems to counteract that nicely, evening out my skin tone. If you apply too much, it can feel greasy, so I'd recommend using very small amounts and dabbing it on specific areas rather than all over. - Hwahae UserDry SkinApr 6, 2017
Great as a base for those with dry skin! It absorbs well, keeps skin hydrated, and is perfect for dry skin types! Maybe it's because I've only used a little, or I haven't paid close attention, but I don't notice a dramatic difference between using it and not using it. Still, the areas where I've applied it do look a bit more hydrated. I'd recommend applying it generously to areas where you want that extra glow. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinMar 25, 2017
1. The absorbs is really nice. It goes on so lightly! I was genuinely surprised. It feels like applying an emulsion. 2. It gives a natural, beautiful glow! Even with matte foundation on top, you still get that smooth luminosity. 3. It seems to make makeup adhere better and brighten the complexion, though I'm not 100% certain. It looks gorgeous even when applied to the back of your hand, giving off a lovely reddish glow. Many of you might be wondering - I naturally have quite a bit of redness in my skin, but this doesn't seem to accentuate it at all! I've heard people say it gives an even prettier glow than Pink Light! The tube is a bit hard to squeeze, so you need to apply some force to get the product out! But I suppose that's better than it gushing out when you've barely touched it. Apply it with your hands, starting from your forehead, then nose, cheeks, and chin. This method helps it absorb without feeling sticky. - su********Dry SkinFeb 22, 2017
It feels more hydrating than just applying foundation alone, which is great. There's a subtle shimmer that definitely gives your skin a glowing effect. My skin is quite fair, so I appreciated that they offer various shades. I went to the store to test them out before buying. I was hesitant about trying the 'Red' shade, thinking it might make me look flushed, but since I have a cool complexion, it actually looked prettier than the pink shade. The color seemed to suit me better. You'll need to cleanse thoroughly when removing it. However, there isn't a huge difference between the various shades. It's probably more about personal satisfaction than anything else.
