Plus, its ability to remove excess sebum was outstanding.
ConsSince I started using the black sugar soap, I've been experiencing skin blemishes and itchiness. I'm not entirely sure if it's due to this product or something else, but the issues began right after I switched to this soap. Before the black sugar one, I was using a job's tears soap.

It felt like I was applying a mask, which was quite interesting.
ConsEven when using a soap dish, it just melts away. After use, despite thorough rinsing, I experienced intense itching and an allergic reaction, forcing me to discontinue use. I tried adjusting the application time, but the itching persisted. Moreover, after use, my skin felt extremely dry and tight. I used it three times before realizing it didn't suit me and had to discard it. Those with sensitive skin should be cautious.

The best part is that you can use this solid soap for both cleansing and as a mask. It's super convenient - you can remove makeup with it as a first cleanse, then for the second cleanse, massage the Black Sugar Soap for about 60 seconds, which doubles as a mask treatment. After rinsing, my skin feels squeaky clean, so the cleansing effectiveness seems excellent. The Black Sugar Soap contains herbal ingredients like Houttuynia Cordata and Sophora Root, giving it a mix of traditional medicinal and herbal scents, which I personally love.
ConsFirst off, this solid soap is quite pricey, which is disappointing. Also, I have dry, super sensitive skin. I didn't notice any issues on day one, but after using it for three consecutive days, I developed red blemishes and itchiness. I think it might be from the constant rolling motion, so for exfoliation, once or twice a week might be more suitable. Don't expect blackheads and whiteheads to disappear quickly - I'd only recommend this for those willing to use it consistently for long-term skin management.
TipFor those with sensitive skin, I recommend using the 60-second rolling massage just once a week, followed by rinsing and then giving your face another thorough massage. For the other days, just use it gently as a regular soap about four times a week!
