If the fragrance isn't pleasant, I find myself reluctant to use even the best products. When I first received this, I thought it might have a dull scent due to its grain-like packaging. But surprise! It has a delightful fruity aroma! The scent isn't overpowering at all, which makes me reach for it frequently. ⭐️Hydration⭐️ As someone with dry lips, I use lip balm year-round except in summer. For nighttime, I prefer a moisturizing balm, but for daily use, I lean towards semi-matte formulas rather than overly hydrating ones. This product has that perfect semi-matte feel, making it ideal for everyday use! ⭐️Color⭐️ While the product appears pale yellow, it goes on clear when applied! ⭐️Texture⭐️ I'm not a fan of lip balms that melt easily in pockets or warm places during winter. I appreciate Nivea products for their firm texture that resists melting, and this product follows suit. Its solid formulation means I can confidently carry it in my pocket without worries!
ConsWhile I can recommend this product to those who, like me, prefer less moisturizing formulas for daily use, it might not be suitable for those seeking a deeply hydrating lip balm. This product tends to create more of a surface coating, making it challenging to achieve that deep, nourishing moisture.
TipApply generously before bed, and you'll find it easier to exfoliate dead skin cells in the morning!

First off, the scent is subtle and natural, which I really appreciate. It doesn't feel sticky or overly greasy when applied, which is great. The hydration lasts quite a while, unless I eat something. Overall, I'm very satisfied and would consider repurchasing after I finish this one.
ConsThere's nothing wrong with the product's performance itself. If I had to nitpick, I'd say the case finishing is slightly lacking. There were some rough edges, but I was able to smooth them out myself, so it wasn't really an issue.

With mask-wearing being so common, I've found that overpowering scents can get trapped inside and cause headaches. Being quite sensitive to smells, even slightly strong ones can be a problem for me. However, this product was a pleasant surprise. It's not an intense artificial scent, but rather a soft, subtle fragrance that lingers gently. Even with my sensitivity, I had no issues using it. Nivea used to have products with strong scents like cherry lip balms, but this one is really nice. If you're looking for a Nivea lip balm but don't want something unscented or overpowering, I'd recommend giving this a try. It leaves a pleasant aroma inside your mask. ✔️Color - The color is clear. The balm itself has a slight yellow tint, but it applies transparently. ✔️Hydration - As I mentioned earlier, I'm not only sensitive to smells but also to textures - I'm super sensitive skin. I don't like lip balms that are overly moist like tanghulu, nor do I like ones that are too dry and matte, as they don't seem to do their job. I've always used Nivea because it suits my needs, and this product is no exception to their usual lip balm texture. It's not so moist that it makes your mask stick to your lips, nor is it so matte that it causes your lips to crack. However, if you have very dry lips, you might want to apply it more frequently. Even with repeated application, it doesn't feel greasy or clumpy. ✔️Packaging - I appreciated that Nivea didn't use excessive packaging like plastic wraps, opting instead for just paper packaging. It felt more environmentally friendly.
Cons✔️Room for Improvement - Since I've been using Nivea products every winter, I didn't find many downsides. Nivea is so common it's almost a national staple, so most people are probably familiar with it. However, if I had to point out one area for improvement, I'd say this might not be the best choice for those with extremely dry lips or those seeking intense hydration. While it's one of the reasons I like Nivea, people with very dry skin might not find this product exceptionally moisturizing. Also, I wouldn't recommend it to those who are extremely sensitive to fragrances and prefer only unscented products. While the scent isn't strong, it's not completely fragrance-free, and you can smell it inside your mask. Apart from these points, I think it would suit most people well.
TipAs we're heading into the cooler autumn and winter seasons when skin starts to dry out, remember to apply lip balm regularly, especially before bed.
