It's not sticky and doesn't transfer, so you can even wear it to bed It's less effective at softening dead skin cells compared to the famous blue Nivea lip balm - mo*******Dry SkinRecommendedJan 10, 2022
Scent: The fragrance is delightfully sweet and aromatic. Hydration: While it doesn't instantly eliminate or smooth out lip dead skin cells upon application, it does create a thin protective oil layer that seems to prevent further flaking. The moisturizing effect, which is quite pleasant, lasts for a considerable time, making it great for frequent use. Texture: There's no sticky or uncomfortable feeling, but you can sense a slight oiliness as it forms a protective layer on your lips. The balm has a good consistency - not too soft, but firm enough to melt nicely with your body heat, making it easy to apply. I didn't experience any particular issues with this product. As a clear lip balm, I'd recommend it for everyday use! - rl**********Oily SkinAcne SkinRecommendedOct 24, 2021Reviewed by The Hwahae Testers

I was looking for better moisturizing, and I'm glad this came out! I was a bit worried that since it's an oil, it might be too heavy, but it's not heavy at all and the finish feels fresh. The hydration might not be as intense as I expected, but since I wanted to use the stick as a portable option, it's great for applying after makeup when I'm out. I also like that the packaging is paper, making it eco-friendly, which is a plus. As for the scent, it might be hit or miss for some people. Personally, I enjoy the oil-based fragrance, so I like it! Despite being called an oil, the moisturizing effect isn't as intense as you might expect. - Hwahae UserOily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinOct 23, 2021Reviewed by The Hwahae Testers

Color: The lip balm has a yellowish tint overall, but it goes on clear when applied to the lips. Many lip balms tend to leave marks on masks, but this one stays clean due to its colorless nature. 2. Hydration: Hydration is crucial for lip balms! Personally, I prefer lip balms that are moderately moisturizing with some oil content for everyday use, rather than thick ones that can feel uncomfortable. This Nivea lip balm is perfect for those seeking such a texture! It's adequately moisturizing and hydrating, making it great for frequent application throughout the day. 3. Scent: With mask-wearing being common these days, the fragrance of lip balms has become quite important as it lingers inside the mask. This lip balm has a subtle scent, though I can't quite pinpoint what it is. Perhaps a sweet aroma? Personally, I didn't find it bothersome. Room for Improvement: The hydration level might not be sufficient for nighttime care compared to jar-type lip balms. That's why I use a jar-type lip care product from Vaseline in the evenings. While this lip balm should work well in spring and summer, it feels a bit lacking during the current seasonal transition. I find that applying this moderately moisturizing, colorless lip balm before using matte tints or lipsticks helps smooth out dead skin cells and allows for a more even application. While it may slightly reduce the longevity of the lip color, it makes my lips feel much more comfortable. - ju*****Dry SkinRecommendedOct 22, 2021Reviewed by The Hwahae Testers

I've always been a Nivea lip balm user, but unlike other products that feel greasy, transfer easily, and don't moisturize well, this one provides deep hydration and a rich feel. It effectively helps manage dead skin cells on the lips! I tend to apply lip balm whenever my lips feel dry, so I prefer unscented products. However, this one has a rather strong fragrance... After eating, applying it without brushing my teeth made me feel like I was just smelling toothpaste. - hy*****Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinAtopic SkinRecommendedOct 22, 2021Reviewed by The Hwahae Testers

Initially, I was a bit hesitant to use it directly on my lips, so I tried it on the back of my hand first. It wasn't sticky at all and felt very hydrating. I have extremely dry, flaky lips that crack even in summer, but after applying this lip balm generously before bed and then again in the morning while getting ready (wiping it off before applying lipstick), I noticed significantly less visible dead skin cells! The scent is subtle, and since I'm not a fan of tinted lip balms, I focused on its moisturizing properties and non-sticky texture, which I absolutely loved. Drawbacks? I honestly couldn't find any! If I had to mention something, it would be that like all balm-type lip products, it can attract dust. But this is common for all balm formulations, so I didn't find it particularly bothersome. Applying a generous amount of lip balm before bed significantly improves the condition of your lips by morning. After cleansing and applying your skincare products, put on the lip balm along with your base makeup. This prevents foundation from sticking to your lips and preps them for lip products, allowing for a smoother application without emphasizing any dead skin cells. - my******Combination SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedOct 22, 2021Reviewed by The Hwahae Testers

But as I got older and my skin became super sensitive, I had to say goodbye to it. Then, I got lucky and was chosen for The Hwahae Testers, giving me a chance to try Nivea again. You know, I used to find that other Nivea products would feel moisturizing at first, but quickly dry out my skin, leading to dead skin cells. However, this Naturally Good Lip Care doesn't dry out my lips, which is fantastic! The way it absorbs is excellent, as expected from a Nivea product. And the scent? It's like a subtle bubblegum fragrance, not too sweet - just perfect! Given how dry and sensitive my lips are, I can't say it completely prevented dead skin cells from forming... - ex*****Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedOct 22, 2021Reviewed by The Hwahae Testers

On top of that, the sudden weather changes have made my whole body dry, causing my lips to develop a lot of dead skin cells. But after applying this Nivea lip balm, my cracked and chapped lips felt soothed! It reminded me once again why Nivea is a brand I can trust. If you're wondering which lip balm to buy, you can't go wrong with anything from Nivea. I already had a lip balm, so I gave this one to my younger brother first. He smelled it and seemed to dislike it a bit... When I used it later, I actually found the scent pleasant and refreshing. I think the fragrance might be a matter of personal preference! I apply a generous amount at night before bed, and in the morning when I wake up, the dead skin cells are softened. Then I gently roll a cotton swab over my lips to remove them. This method is much less irritating than physically peeling them off! (You might get stressed about stubborn dead skin, but if you repeat this process the next day, it comes right off.) - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinOct 22, 2021Reviewed by The Hwahae Testers

I'm a fan! The texture and application are delightful. It's a stick type, but feels softer than typical Nivea products. It's not oily or sticky after application, leaving a fresh feeling that I really appreciate. In terms of hydration, it's just the right level of freshness! I'd recommend it as an everyday item for those who dislike heavy, suffocating products. As someone who tends to pick at their lips a lot (dry lips make the dead skin more noticeable, leading to more picking), I found that even applying a thick layer before bed doesn't provide enough coverage with this product. If you're looking for a sleeping pack, I'd suggest a richer product. This one is truly meant for everyday use.
