I have oily eyelids, so I've always dreamed of finding a mascara that doesn't smudge on my lower lashes, even just once. š¢ I've tried everything that claims to be smudge-proof. From drugstore to high-end, I've used them all - L'OrĆ©al, Kiss Me, Maybelline, Make Up For Ever... Even luxury brands like Etude House and Missha. They all smudged on me. Sure, they stay put on my upper lashes, but the lower ones are a disaster. I see my friends wearing mascara and it looks so pretty on them, but on me? Instant panda eyes. Sigh. I even tried false lashes on my lower lashline, but they looked so obvious and weird. One night, as I was scrolling through Coupang before bed (as one does), I searched for mascaras again. The one with the least mentions of smudging? Tony Moly Double Needs Pang Pang Mascara! I thought, 'Well, it's affordable. Might as well give it a shot.' The result? It doesn't smudge, folks! It really doesn't! I even used the Etude House Mascara Fixer on top, and while it does come off, it doesn't smudge at all. I'm in tears (of joy)! Thank you, Tony Moly. Let's stay together for a long time. I was skeptical at first since I'd never used their products before, but it doesn't irritate my eyes and it doesn't smudge. The only downside is that the brush is a bit big, making it tricky to apply on lower lashes. But hey, it doesn't smudge, so I can't complain! This is the only mascara that hasn't smudged on me in my entire life. I'm in my 30s, so you can imagine how many I've tried! This one smudges the least. Period. I think I'll be repurchasing this for a while. Hehe! It clumps a little bit, haha. It has great staying power and applies richly. Best of all, it comes off easily with just cleansing foam, which I absolutely love. That's why I use this exclusively for my daily routine. I often get eye irritation and redness when wearing mascara, but this product doesn't cause any of those issues, which is fantastic. For those with straight lashes, you can expect almost no curling effect from this product. This might be the best mascara I've ever used. Unlike other mascaras that make lashes stick straight out and look shorter when applied to the lower lashes, this one beautifully coats both upper and lower lashes. It's truly legendary how it doesn't uncurl even my naturally long lashes. However, it's somewhat true that it smudges easily with just a bit of moisture. Removes makeup well. The brush seems really great. The amount seems generous too. It doesn't droop easily. It smudges way too easily... Whether I'm crying sad tears or not, as soon as my eye area gets a bit moist, it smudges... Oh my... It's a one-star product... It's truly worth every penny... I'll explain more below. The name 'Volume Pang' is quite ironic as there's absolutely no volume, and it looks incredibly natural. The decisive flaw is that it doesn't curl at all. The moment you apply it, it's like magic - your curled lashes instantly drop! Your lashes become dramatically thicker. Highly recommended for those with thin, sparse lashes. The mascara effect is quite noticeable (which may be a matter of personal preference), yet it has minimal smudging or excess fallout. Best of all, you can cleanse it off with lukewarm water! It's not completely free from smudging or fallout. If you apply too much without curling your lashes, you might get a few marks under your eyes when you squint. After 6-8 hours, some powder may start to fall off. People who disliked this aspect probably had trouble controlling the amount. I also had to struggle with amount control, which made the opening messy. Too much product comes out on the applicator at once. Moreover, the brush is quite large, making it difficult to apply to the lower lashes. The formula is quite sticky, so it can clump a bit during application. Lashes might stick together and get chunky. When this happens, combing through several times with the brush helps. I can't really think of any specific positives from my experience using this product As soon as I applied the mascara, my eyes started stinging. The irritation made my eyes water continuously, causing the mascara to smudge badly. It was a really unpleasant experience
