From the third day onwards, the center of my face became stiff and I felt a burning sensation. It was as if all the moisture in my skin had been snatched away, and I thought maybe it was because of the base, so I persisted for one more day. But then it even started to itch, and I realized it was definitely because of the base. Even though it was a waste, I immediately threw it in the trash. ✔️ Smooth Application It applies lightly! There was no feeling of heaviness or oiliness when applied (and no cakiness either). It applied like an essence, very lightly! While it is a base, it's not like the typical bases we use. I'd say it's more for providing a glow. ✔️ Absorption It didn't absorb immediately after application, but took about the same amount of time as after applying a moisturizer. However, once it absorbed, it didn't feel heavy or tacky, and it adhered well to my skin! (I had used more expensive products before, but they would often feel heavy or tacky, so I decided not to buy glow bases anymore. But the Blithe one had no issues with heaviness or tackiness.) However, on days when my skin condition was poor (very tired or dry), there was a slight sense of it sitting on top of my skin. (But on those days, anything I apply tends to sit on top.) ✔️ Glow If you have great skin, you could just use this alone! I tested it on a friend with beautiful skin, and the glow made her skin look more even-toned and radiant. As someone with problematic skin, I can't use it alone, but using it after my skincare routine, the difference in glow between wearing it and not was very noticeable!
Cons
I tend to buy a lot of the glow products from Blithe (as I prefer a glowy skin look), but of course, it's most important to find products that don't cause breakouts for my troubled skin. Luckily, I've never had any breakouts from using Blithe products! Personally, I think the Waterfall Sun Essence is the best Blithe product for achieving a glowy look.
Tip
If it starts to feel heavy or tacky due to using too many skincare products or changes in skin condition, you can use a puff to help it absorb better, so it doesn't feel heavy or tacky.
