  I've used over half of this product already. My skin is combination dehydrated, prone to deep dryness during seasonal changes, autumn, winter, and when I apply matte foundation. True to its name, this product balances oil and moisture levels, leaving my skin smooth. I typically apply it after the Wellage hydrating ampoule, as I'm not satisfied with its finish alone.

  Cons

  However, as a student, unless I receive it as a gift, I probably wouldn't spend my own money on it. The effects aren't that extraordinary to justify the cost.

  I've been using this for n years now, and I highly recommend it to everyone except those with dry skin. (For dry skin types, a more moisturizing product might be better.) As someone with combination dehydrated, blemish-prone skin, I've been using this emulsion instead of a cream. I apply it consistently morning and night. The texture is a lightweight essence-emulsion that doesn't feel too rich, which I love! When applied, it feels more hydrating than oily. Perhaps due to its high moisture content, it gives a slight cooling sensation when applied! (Not the coolness from menthol, but the refreshing feeling of skin being hydrated) It's also great to use before applying makeup! The formula is light, not heavy, and absorption isn't slow, so unless you apply an excessive amount, you shouldn't experience any pilling.

  Cons

  I don't have any particular complaints, but for those with dry skin, products with more moisturizing properties might be better suited!

  Recommended for normal, oily, and combination dehydrated skin types. Also great for those who dislike heavy, rich products!

The ingredients are clean, it's fragrance-free, and it strikes the perfect balance between being lightweight and rich. It maintains an excellent oil and moisture balance, making it ideal for combination dehydrated skin. It's hydrating without being sticky, absorbs well, and over time, you can feel your skin regaining a healthy balance.

  In the height of summer, since it's not entirely oil-free, you can mix it with an aloe or hyaluronic acid gel-type formula. This combination absorbs quickly and doesn't put stress on your skin.

  Texture and Richness: It applies smoothly and feels moisturizing, yet it's not runny when squeezed onto the back of your hand. The "balancing" in its name is spot on! This is an absolute summer essential. If you apply it over a richer product, it completely controls excess oil. It leaves your skin feeling powdery soft without being drying - just perfectly balancing oil control and hydration. Dr.G really nailed it with this one! Seriously amazing! Recommended Skin Types: I have combination/dehydrated skin, but I think this would work well for both oily and dry skin types. It's fantastic at controlling oil while still keeping skin hydrated. It's a game-changer! However, I'd especially recommend it for combination dehydrated skin. Make sure to apply it before bed in summer, my fellow combination skin friends!

After being satisfied with Dr.G's Blemish sunscreen, I decided to try this product. I'm very pleased with it. Using the toner, emulsion, and cream from the same line has significantly reduced my blemishes. This product deserves high praise!

  When it gets too hot in summer, I used this as an all-in-one essence, applying it like a toner and in place of an emulsion. When my go-to Dr. G Green Mild Essence was discontinued, I contacted customer service and they recommended this product as the closest alternative. The feel is similar, but it's slightly thicker than the Green Mild Essence - more like an emulsion than a toner, but still somewhere in between. I use it as an emulsion substitute in summer and as a pre-emulsion step in drier seasons. It's not greasy, yet hydrating, making it perfect for year-round use. I love the gentle application that feels comfortable on the skin, the mild ingredients, and the fragrance-free formula.

  The only downside is the price. While it's a product I'm satisfied with, it feels expensive, so I have no choice but to wait for significant sales before purchasing.
