Texture: When applied, there's a slight rich feeling, but it's as fluid as a toner, so it doesn't feel off-putting. Absorbs very well. My skin is dry, and this product feels somewhat similar to the Laneige Cream Skin...? I'd recommend it for those with dry skin, but those with oily skin might find it a bit too rich. Since it's on the richer side, even though it's a toner, I suggest not applying it right after cleansing. Instead, use a pad to even your skin tone first, then apply for best results. Due to its richer texture, I don't think I'll be able to use it in the peak of summer... - ki******Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedJan 17, 2025
✓ For dry skin Positives: - Feels like you're wearing nothing - Fragrance-free or light scent - Absorbs quickly - Hydrating Negatives: - Greasy shine - Strong fragrance - Irritation - Stickiness This product is absolutely perfect for me! I have dry skin but absolutely hate feeling greasy, so I often use products for oily skin. However, this seems suitable for all skin types! The scent is light and doesn't linger. What I love most is that it doesn't leave a greasy film - you can apply it generously and it absorbs quickly, leaving your skin feeling soft and fresh. There's absolutely nothing to dislike about this product. I'm on my third bottle - it's a real winner! - im********Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRednessRecommendedJan 3, 2025
I'm on my second bottle. Great value for money with a generous amount. The lightweight texture makes it pleasant to use. You can apply it liberally and it absorbs well. The nearly fragrance-free formula doesn't irritate. It feels a bit too light. Using this alone leaves my skin feeling dry. Although it's marketed as a pore serum, I'm not sure if it actually helps with pores. - so*****Dry SkinAcne SkinRecommendedSep 15, 2024
The big advantage is its generous size, allowing you to use it liberally like a moisturizer. It contains cica, which is great for its soothing effects. There's nothing to dislike about it. It's so hydrating that you can layer it like a moisturizer, and it feels clean on the skin, which is wonderful. - du******Oily SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRednessDead Skin CellsRecommendedAug 28, 2024
After my skin became irritated, everything I applied stung a bit, but this product didn't cause any tingling at all, which was great. As I have oily skin, I don't usually prefer products with excess oil or heavy textures, but this one has a lightweight formula and absorbs quickly. I've been using it daily without experiencing any blemishes or skin issues, so I'm really enjoying it. There's nothing particularly disappointing about this product that I've noticed while using it. I apply it lightly every day, but on days when my skin is particularly red or I have blemishes, I soak a cotton pad with it and use it as a toner pack along with my regular routine. - cl**********Combination SkinRecommendedDec 24, 2021Reviewed by The Hwahae Testers

I haven't found my holy grail skincare product yet, though :( As a Hwahae Tester, I'm writing this review with complete honesty! 1. Packaging I loved the eco-friendly packaging with its clean design that promises a soothing effect. 2. Quantity The generous amount allows for liberal application without worrying about running out quickly! I tend to be generous with my skincare, and even after two weeks of frequent use, there's still plenty left. That's fantastic! 3. Soothing Effect Before trying this ampoule, I bought a hydrating ampoule famous for its moisture content because my skin felt dehydrated in winter. While I've never had skin reactions to skincare before, I started getting blemishes in unusual places. I didn't want to believe it was because of that product, but when I stopped using it and started using this ampoule as a Hwahae Tester, the blemishes stopped appearing. Even famous products might not suit everyone... Strangely, a blemish between my eyebrows wouldn't go away, but after using this ampoule, it gradually subsided. Now it's barely visible with makeup on. I definitely experienced the soothing effect! 4. Texture Unlike typical dropper ampoules, this has a runny, essence-like texture! It surprised me at first, but it's packed with hydration. It's convenient to apply by tilting your face back and squeezing the ampoule onto your skin! Since it doesn't dispense too much in one pump, I actually preferred this to dropper types. 5. Hydration Personally, I found this product sufficiently hydrating. The texture might seem a bit thin, but there's a reason it's called an ampoule! Once, I even forgot to apply cream after this and went straight to base makeup... Despite that, my face didn't feel dry, but I do recommend following up with a cream! It's been a while since I've felt my skin stay hydrated until morning. 6. Overall I definitely felt the soothing and hydrating effects on my skin. The quantity is generous, and since I personally don't prefer dropper ampoules, I was satisfied with every aspect of this product. If the price is reasonable, I'd definitely consider repurchasing it! Since this product suits my skin so well, I can't think of any downsides. However, some people might find the texture too runny compared to typical ampoules! Also, the pump dispenser might be a matter of personal preference. Due to its runny texture, it can be tricky to apply if you dispense it onto your hand first! I found it easier to tilt my face towards the ceiling and apply it directly to my face. It's not so watery that it drips everywhere, so I've been applying it this way every day! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedDec 24, 2021Reviewed by The Hwahae Testers

Despite its lightweight formula, this ampoule effectively combats deep dryness. I used to follow a routine of toner-ampoule-moisturizer, but with this First Cica Ampoule followed by a moisturizer, I could skip the toner without feeling any deep dryness! It seems to regulate sebum too, as my skin feels moisturized without excessive oiliness after application. I have combination dehydrated, extremely oily, blemish-prone, and super sensitive skin. Unfortunately, this didn't suit my skin - after 5 days of use, I had to stop as it kept causing breakouts. However, I gave it to my sister and she calls it her holy grail! Remember, different ingredients work for different people, so keep that in mind! After using the ampoule, apply a light moisturizer to lock in hydration while controlling oil production! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAtopic SkinDec 24, 2021Reviewed by The Hwahae Testers

First off, I was impressed by the generous amount of product. Usually, ampoules come in tiny quantities and cost a fortune, but Dermashare's offering is beast-mode in terms of volume. 2. The scent is just a typical cosmetic fragrance, nothing special. As someone sensitive to strong scents, I often struggle with heavily fragranced products, but this ampoule's aroma isn't overpowering or artificial, which I appreciate. 3. The texture is quite fluid! This makes it easy to absorb without any fuss, and its lightweight feel is a definite plus. The absorption is so good that even with my oily skin, I can apply it in the morning without feeling greasy. Well... unfortunately, for me, this ampoule had more downsides than positives. 1. After application, I was surprised to see tiny blemishes popping up here and there. It seems a bit too rich for my skin type. Looking at the ingredients on Hwahae, I noticed it contains more components beneficial for dry skin rather than oily, so it might be better suited for those with drier complexions. 2. I didn't see significant results. I have some redness issues, so I was hopeful when I won this event, but it didn't really help with my redness or small bumps. It wasn't irritating per se, just not effective for my concerns. 3. It's just an okay ampoule with a large quantity. I like using skincare devices at night for better absorption, and usually ampoules come in small amounts, so I have to mix them with other products. With this one, you can apply generously, which is nice. However, if you have oily skin like me, I wouldn't expect much in terms of effectiveness. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinRecommendedDec 24, 2021Reviewed by The Hwahae Testers

I liked that it wasn't overwhelmingly strong. ✓ Texture - Between a toner and emulsion consistency, it has a light and clear feel that flows easily. ✓ First off, it's a large-capacity ampoule, much bigger than most others out there. It's great that you can use it generously! When applied to the face, it feels incredibly hydrating and absorbs quickly! There's absolutely no stickiness, so I highly recommend it to those who dislike sticky products! I don't usually have major blemishes, but I do have some deep dryness that can make my skin feel oily quickly. After using this for a week, my deep dryness has improved, suggesting it's effective for balancing oil and moisture. Although I received this as part of an event, I'd be willing to purchase it with my own money once it runs out! ✓ While it was sufficiently hydrating and balanced for my combination skin, it might feel too light for those with dry skin! If you're looking for something more intense, this product has a lighter feel that's great for summer use! For maximum hydration, spray it directly on your face instead of applying it with your hands! - rn*********Dry SkinRecommendedDec 24, 2021Reviewed by The Hwahae Testers

Even though I received this product for free, I'll do my best to leave an honest review. 👉 I have combination skin leaning towards dry! My T-zone has a bit of oiliness, while my U-zone is so dry it would make severely dry skin weep. 👉 I have noticeable pores in my butterfly zone, but otherwise my skin condition doesn't change much. 1. Love the generous size These days, ampoules come in such tiny bottles that it's a bit off-putting to buy them. When I first received this, I was surprised by how big it was - I thought it might be a toner! The large size means you can use it liberally. 2. Hygienic pump-type packaging The pump-type bottle feels more hygienic as it minimizes air contact. You can pump it directly onto your face for application. 3. Fresh finish Rather than being an ultra-rich ampoule, this one has more of a fresh feel! I liked that it didn't feel heavy on the skin. 1. The fresh finish I mentioned earlier could be a downside for those with dry skin. I personally prefer richer ampoules, so this might be why, but I found I needed to layer it at least twice to feel properly hydrated. 2. At first, I thought it was unscented, but there's a slight medicinal scent, possibly from the cica ingredients. This might be hit or miss for some people. 3. Not recommended if you're looking for a highly functional ampoule It's kind of a 'no frills' product - it's fresh and has a slight soothing effect, but beyond that, there's not much to write home about... For those with dry skin, I'd recommend using this with a moisturizing cream or layering it two to three times to achieve sufficient hydration!
