It's a Hwahae, so when you apply it during dry times, the moisturizing effect lasts a long time and the color durability is also long-lasting, which is great. The pigmentation is also excellent. It has great staying power and the color comes out vibrantly, so you don't need to apply lipstick separately after using the Hwahae - you can just carry this one product, which is convenient! The color and longevity are excellent, but as you can see in the photo, while the color comes out well, there are small granular particles like flakes, so when applied to the lips, there is a slight sense of foreign matter(?). I tend to enjoy glossy lips, so I apply lip balm first and then layer lip gloss on top to create a dewy lip look, and it lasts really well - it's so moisturizing and the color stays on for a long time! The lip gloss is colorless and transparent, but since the lip balm itself has color, it looks very pretty! - mi******Dry SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedNov 30, 2024
I keep coming back to the Lux Triple Lip Cure Balm. It applies smoothly when you warm it up a bit in your hands, making it easy to control the intensity. The more you use it, the more it seems to melt away dead skin cells, leaving your lips soft and supple. It's so pleasant to apply before bed, helping me drift off to sleep feeling pampered! It tends to smear easily. It just gets everywhere, unexpectedly. It's making me rethink my daily habits! I transfer the remaining product into a small container mixed with Vaseline for use. - 67*****Dry SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesEnlarged PoresRecommendedMay 11, 2024
I have a deep undertone and warm complexion, with naturally pigmented lips, so I prefer bolder colors! I've gone through at least 3 tubes of the Lip Cure Balm in Athena. While using it, I always felt the color payoff was a bit light with just one application, so I'd have to apply 2-3 layers to get a noticeable tint. This meant the balm disappeared quickly, unfortunately. When Venus came out, I was hesitant after seeing reviews and swatches, worried it might be an outdated red shade. I bought both Athena and Venus, fearing disappointment. But now, I never reach for Athena and have almost finished Venus - it's perfect for me! In the photos, I'm wearing no makeup! While the camera may have adjusted the colors slightly, Venus brightens up my whole face. It's a beautiful red that's not at all dated, which I love. I'm officially switching to Venus now! The biggest drawback of the Lip Cure Balm is the residue. Always check a mirror! - an********Combination SkinEnlarged PoresRecommendedApr 16, 2024
Vibrant color and natural ingredients promote healthy lips. This is my second purchase! It can clump a bit when applying, but I'm still satisfied using it because the ingredients are so good. - wa********Combination SkinRecommendedJul 6, 2023
The color is beautiful and the ingredients are great. It's perfect for everyday wear and pairs well with tints or lipsticks. If you only apply this, it seems to dry out over time. - tr****Dry SkinSensitive SkinAtopic SkinRecommendedMay 8, 2023
The ingredients are its biggest advantage. Can you find such ingredient safety among tinted lip products? Even with contact dermatitis and cheilitis that usually prevent me from wearing lipstick, this one is fine to apply. Plus, it contains shea butter for added hydration. The color payoff is different from lip products made with synthetic ingredients. I suppose it can't be helped. It's a bit disappointing that the colors don't appear as clear and bright. - dl**********Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedApr 10, 2023
I've been using this consistently for 3 years now. I usually wear velvet tints, but when my lips get too dry and need a break, I reach for this Lip Cure Balm. It's moisturizing and has a pretty tint. At first, I thought the color payoff was weak, but it's a special lip balm that builds up color the more you use it! It's packed with pomegranate extract, which is great for your lips, so I plan to keep using it without any worries! The staying power is quite poor. It disappears after just one cup of coffee, and it wears off during meals. Don't expect it to last long! While the color payoff is good enough to use as your main lip product, you'll need to reapply frequently if you want to use it that way. This is a lip balm that brings out a natural rosy tint in your lips the more you use it, so it's great to apply regularly even when you're at home! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedMar 27, 2023
It's wonderfully moisturizing and the color payoff is excellent. I've definitely noticed a significant reduction in inflammatory acne. Unfortunately, it tends to clump if applied too frequently. Due to its limited staying power, I need to reapply often, which means constantly removing and reapplying the product. - se*****Combination SkinAcne SkinRecommendedJan 14, 2023
This product and the glossy version seem to be the best options. There's absolutely no irritation, so you can use it worry-free. It's wonderfully hydrating. I was concerned that the 'Red' color might not suit me since Cool Pink works well for me, but fortunately, the shade is nice. It's not a warm red. The texture and application are a bit problematic. It clumps slightly and doesn't apply well in inner areas or similar spots. - rt****Combination SkinRecommendedJan 9, 2023
I always use and love the Lip Cure Balm. This particular product has a rich color that stays on well even as time passes. There's not much to dislike, but if you apply too much, it can give a somewhat mature look. It's prettier when applied thinly. Also, its distinctive scent can be a bit overwhelming at times. Apply generously, then blot with a tissue once to reduce transfer onto your mask.
