I discovered the Make P:rem Pure Biome line after seeing my sister use their Cleansing Powder. Since cleansing water is a must-have for me, I decided to try the Pure Biome Cleansing Water first. Despite being a cleansing product, it maintains hydration without drying out the skin. It definitely feels less harsh on the skin and helps combat deep dryness. It's also quite effective at removing skin makeup like foundation, so its cleansing effectiveness is good. I was intrigued by the main ingredient - rice extract fermented with Lactobacillus? You know how they say washing your face with rice water is good for your skin. This product, although a cleanser, is great for keeping the skin moisturized. I think the key to maintaining healthy skin might be hydration...? Above all, it's a low pH and gentle product, so I used it without worry. I'd recommend it to all skin types. The texture is a non-controversial water formula, and I was satisfied using it as it's hydrating yet refreshing. - za*********Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedDec 28, 2023
- Cleanses gently and effectively. The cotton pad glides smoothly without pilling, which is great because rough pads can irritate the skin. This one just glides effortlessly. I've realized it wasn't my cotton pads that were the problem, but the cleansing water I was using before. - So far, I haven't experienced any stinging or irritation around my eyes. - If the price was a bit better, this would be a product I'd stock up on, settle with long-term, and recommend to friends. #HighlyRecommended #HwahaeApproved #StockUpWhenOnSale - No real downsides. However, I only do simple makeup like eyebrows and contouring, so I can't speak to how well it removes heavier eye makeup like mascara. For that, you might want to use a separate eye makeup remover! If you typically don't react well to fermented ingredients, make sure to patch test before purchasing. - lo*********Combination SkinAcne SkinSep 8, 2023
The cleansing effectiveness is great. Even without using a cleansing foam for a second cleanse, it removes makeup well with just a light rinse using lukewarm water. It's irritating. After saturating a cotton pad and wiping off makeup, there's a burning and tingling sensation left on the skin. I've always used cleansing waters, but this is the first time I've experienced this. What's worse is that after rinsing with water, my entire face turns red as if I'm flushed, and it doesn't subside easily. It's definitely quite harsh on the skin. And I don't even have super sensitive skin! - mi********Dry SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedFeb 4, 2023
The scent is pleasant, and what I love most is that it's free from active ingredients I haven't used it much yet, so I'm not sure, but my skin feels a bit dry after removing makeup - tm*******Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedJan 9, 2022
* Eye Irritation: Although the product page didn't mention any eye irritation tests, it's remarkably gentle on the eyes. Even if a small amount gets in, there's usually no stinging sensation. However, I must update this: after continued use, even a tiny bit can make my eyes so sensitive I can barely open them. * Scent: While it seems to be fragrance-free, it's not completely scentless. Personally, I find it has a fresh, subtle aroma. * Volume: As someone who uses products generously, I appreciate the large size. * Cleansing Effectiveness: It's sufficient as a first cleanse for light makeup. Post-use, my skin feels less dry than with other cleansers. No complaints so far. I just hope they don't discontinue or reformulate it.
