After applying aloe gel, I'm not sure if it's because of that, but the redness seems to subside a bit and my complexion appears more even.
ConsI think I'll need to use it consistently to really tell. At this point, I'm not quite sure about its effectiveness.

Perhaps due to the peppermint ingredient, it feels even more refreshing than Lindsay's Cool Tea Tree mask. It's incredibly soothing when you have it on. While it does help calm blemishes, I feel it's more effective at reducing facial heat, potentially preventing additional breakouts. If cooling is your main focus, definitely purchase this - the cooling effect is absolutely top-notch! I usually prefer thicker modeling masks, but with this product, a slightly thinner consistency seems to maintain hydration longer. The US-sourced diatomaceous earth blends well with water, making it really easy and smooth to mix, even for beginners. For the ratio, 1:1 water to powder gives a thicker consistency, while 1:1.2 results in a more fluid mix. Surprisingly, it doesn't dry out excessively at the edges and peels off gently. Applying it thicker at the edges might make removal even easier. Honestly, I think edge drying depends more on application technique than product characteristics. For those who've tried Lindsay's Cool Tea Tree and want an even more intense cooling effect, Dr. Jart's mask might be worth a try. Considering the price, including the mask tools, it's a real bargain in the $10-20 range. With its generous quantity, you can comfortably do a daily mask routine. I do it twice a day, morning and night, and my complexion has noticeably brightened!
ConsSince I tend to have a lot of facial heat and am prone to blemishes, I use modeling masks primarily for cooling rather than hydration or brightening. The cooling effect might be too intense for some, potentially dividing opinions.
TipTry mixing it with lukewarm water for a moderately cool mask experience.
