This has become an essential item in my makeup pouch. Once I tried it, I can't imagine going out without it. It's a versatile product that's absolutely necessary for everything from styling my bangs on busy mornings to creating those cute baby hairs near the ears and taming flyaways at the crown. The only downside is that the volume is on the smaller side, so I find myself purchasing it quite frequently. - uj****Combination SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesInner DrynessEnlarged PoresRednessMar 15, 2025
It's fantastic for keeping those pesky baby hairs in place along the hairline when you're styling for exams or putting your hair up in a bun! You need to use more product than expected to get a good hold. Considering you can find similar items at discount stores, it might not be worth splurging on this particular one. Apply it to your hair, then use a fine-toothed comb to adjust the strands. Hold the sections you want to set in place with your hands, and it'll stay put exactly as you want! - di****Dry SkinSensitive SkinAtopic SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsWrinkles/ElasticityRednessRecommendedOct 18, 2024
Hair characteristics: Thick and voluminous with extremely coarse strands. Slightly wavy, with an incredibly curly crown area - so much so that people ask if I'm mixed-race. My hair naturally has so much volume, it looks like I've had a perm even without one. I've rocked various styles like the 'perilla leaf' cut, cowlicks, and trendy looks. Currently sporting a medium-length cut that reaches my shoulders. Pros: 1. The staying power seems a bit better. Not as good as Narca Hard, but better than regular Narca or Dalyeop. 2. The scent is nice - a sweet floral fragrance that's not too overpowering, which suits my taste. 3. Overall, I find it better than Dalyeop. For my hair, it's not quite as good as Narca Hard, but better than regular Narca. However, 4. While it's cost-effective, it falls short in terms of satisfaction compared to its price. Please read the cons for a full picture. Cons: 1. The brush is large, which is good, but while it's similar in size to Narca's big brush, the quality doesn't feel particularly impressive. It feels only slightly better than the Daiso hair mascara I briefly used before. The brush is the most disappointing aspect. It feels more like an oversized eyebrow mascara brush rather than one designed for hair. After about 3 weeks of use, you can already see signs of wear. 2. The liquid doesn't come out evenly - it tends to come out in globs. You need to carefully pull out the brush and adjust the amount at the opening. On the first day, it clumped and flew everywhere. 3. Narca has two 5mm brushes, Dalyeop has a 10mm brush, and Aneise has an 8mm brush. Aneise has the smallest brush and is the cheapest, but it feels like it runs out the fastest. 4. Since I don't often create antenna-like styles, I use the mascara brush more and rarely use the comb-shaped brush. So I thought using Aneise with just a mascara brush wouldn't be a big deal. I wanted to compare and try it out. (TMI: To be honest, I ran out of Narca Hard, and it was out of stock at Olive Young for a week. I just bought this from Hemeco using coupons and points for less than 10,000 won.) Of course, both Dalyeop and Narca have two different brush shapes on either side, which is convenient in various ways. I wondered if switching would be inconvenient, but humans are adaptable creatures... I manage to use it well even with just one brush. 5. If you use too much product, it can turn into white powder. For areas with lots of volume that tend to puff up, you need to use wax or gel to tame them - this kind of mascara won't do the trick. But this is a drawback common to Narca, Dalyeop, and Aneise, not just Aneise. 6. The liquid takes some time to dry and set. You need to apply only a small amount on the brush. Conclusion: 1. Considering the cost-effectiveness, I'm torn between buying two of these or one Narca Hard. 2. I already have another wax called Nesh, so this isn't my main styling product. 3. In my opinion, issues with the liquid's hold and setting speed are all due to the brush and case. 4. With Dalyeop or Narca's brush and case, these problems probably wouldn't occur. 5. In short, the formula is good, but the hardware is the issue. I'll use it up and then decide. Or maybe I'll just stick to using Nesh. Buy from Hemeco Lab. They offer free shipping even for a single item purchase. - ic*********Oily SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsEnlarged PoresRecommendedSep 24, 2024
♥ Why I bought it I have so many flyaways, I was worried I'd look like a hedgehog in my graduation photos, so I decided to buy this. ♥ Texture and scent At first application, it feels like water, but then it suddenly sets firm! There is a slight alcohol scent, but it's not overwhelming or uncomfortable to use. ♥ Overall impression It looks like a mascara, so you can just brush it through your hair like you're using a tail comb, and it neatly tames those flyaways! I love how easy it is to use - no special skills required. It sets firmly without leaving any white residue or clumps, so I'll definitely keep using it in the future. There's absolutely nothing to complain about. I love it so much that I plan to use it for every important occasion. - xd********Combination SkinSensitive SkinAtopic SkinSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesJul 9, 2024
The scent is truly delightful, reminiscent of a fresh shampoo fragrance. While the product is effective, there's a slight feeling of heaviness on the skin. The staying power is disappointing. It's fine for taking photos right after application when it settles nicely, but it's not suitable for continuous use. - tj****Combination SkinSensitive SkinWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRecommendedMay 22, 2024
✔️ Staying power: GOOD I bought this to keep my baby hairs in place. Applied at 9 AM, and by 1 PM it was still holding strong and firm. No white residue either. ✔️ Application: GOOD Easy to apply without any hassle. Best to use a comb first, then shape precisely with your fingers. It feels like a hair spray in stick form. ✔️ Scent: SOSO It has a typical hair wax smell, neither pleasant nor unpleasant. There's a slight chemical scent too. ✔️ Usage Seems most useful for taming flyaways. It has limitations when trying to create sleek, forehead-hugging styles. ✔️ TIP The less you touch it, the better it holds. If you apply in the morning, a touch-up at lunchtime can help maintain its staying power throughout the day. - Hwahae UserDehydrated SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinNov 22, 2023
It tamed my flyaways and became a decent daily item Unavoidably, it leaves a residue, so I'm not inclined to use it. It's become an unused product - wk**********Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedNov 6, 2023
I have a lot of baby hairs, so when I tie my hair up high, they're all you can see. I decided to try this product and was really satisfied! I did a messy bun and gently pressed down just the most noticeable flyaways. They laid flat beautifully, which I loved. The best part was, even though there was a strong wind advisory today, and I thought my baby hairs would be all over the place after being hit by the crazy wind, I was shocked to see that only the parts I hadn't applied the product to were sticking up! When I took my hair down later to re-tie it, I noticed that those areas had set so well they were still nicely in place. I had deliberately only applied a little bit in specific areas, worried it might get sticky or hard, but for it to withstand such strong winds... Unless you're facing bitter cold winds for a long time in the dead of winter, I think the staying power will be more than satisfactory! Since it's my first time using the product today, I don't have any complaints about it. I just wish it was more widely available in Olive Young stores. - zx*****Dry SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedNov 16, 2022
This is the ultimate solution for taming those pesky flyaways! I don't usually have short baby hairs, but I've always struggled with long, stubborn flyaways that stick straight up. It's like I'm constantly battling static electricity! To make matters worse, my hair is quite thick, so it's not easy to keep those strands in place. But this product? It's been a total game-changer! Blow-drying alone, no matter how hard I tried, would only result in an 'I' shape or a '/' shape - never truly taming those flyaways. Hair sprays often leave hair looking greasy and clumpy (though that could be due to my lack of skill...). I've even tried spraying it on a hairbrush and combing it through, but that didn't last long and didn't effectively smooth things out. Plus, it was such a hassle! However, this Aneis Hair Mascara not only tames flyaways effectively but also has great staying power without making hair look sticky or clumpy! The mascara-like wand makes it super easy to control the amount you use. While it might be a bit pricey for its size, its portability and effectiveness make it a must-repurchase item for me once I run out! The expiration date is July 14, 2024, which seems a bit short. Before use, dispense enough product onto the case opening. Gently brush the flyaways with a light touch. It dries quickly, so wait patiently without touching it. - na******Normal SkinAcne SkinRecommendedMay 14, 2022
I love that it can tame flyaways. The easy-to-apply format allows for quick application, and its small size makes it convenient to carry around. It takes a while to dry, and you need to hold it in place. The scent is also quite strong. Don't touch your hair until it's dry. When applying to bangs, use it sparingly instead of rolling too much. A light application will still hold your bangs in place.
