  • Honest review from a personal purchase • Great value for the amount • The gel-cream absorbs well • I started with Retinal 1000, but beginners should start with 300 as it may cause tingling (Based on experience with various treatments and products, tingling is often a sign it's working) • Apply generously to face and neck • Reduces wrinkles • Improves skin texture • Makes skin look hydrated

  • Wish it came in a pump bottle Alternatively, a spray or roll-on applicator for a massage effect would be nice

  Pros

  As the brand seller mentioned, retinal is truly an essential ingredient... I started with a pea-sized amount of the 0.3% strength, gradually increasing the quantity. After finishing that bottle, I moved on to the 1% strength, again starting with a pea-sized amount. The next day, my skin texture becomes incredibly smooth.

  Cons

  Don't jump straight to the 1% strength, as it might shock your skin. Start with the 0.3% to let your skin adapt, then transition to the 1%.

  Tip

  I mix it with a cica cream when applying.

  My complexion has brightened and my skin texture has improved. I can really feel the effects, especially in terms of skin texture.

  Cons

  Despite having used a 300ppm version before, I still experienced some irritation at first, which was a bit disappointing.

  Tip

  Absolutely do not apply this after exfoliating! My face kept peeling for 10 days. The product description on the website mentioned this, but I missed it and applied it anyway - what a disaster. For those with super sensitive skin, I recommend mixing it with a moisturizer. Even applying a small amount directly to the face caused some irritation.
