People often say it's hard to get remarkable results from regular skincare products. But retinal is different. When you wake up after applying it, your skin feels incredibly smooth like a peeled egg, and you can even notice a difference in your pores. However, don't get greedy and apply too much - that's a big no-no! I use it three times a week, mixing a pea-sized amount with my other creams. It works hard for your skin! By the way, the 1000 strength is much more vibrant yellow compared to the 300. It's a bit of a hassle having to apply sunscreen the next day. When I'm at home, I'm careful to avoid direct sunlight. - sp********Oily SkinRecommendedApr 19, 2024
The price is absolutely fantastic. The ingredients are great too! I'm planning to use it consistently. It's a bit disappointing that I can only apply it at night due to its high retinol content! - tp******Dry SkinSensitive SkinDark CirclesInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresApr 13, 2024
This high-concentration retinal product is surprisingly affordable. The price is its biggest advantage. I didn't experience any significant irritation on my face. The lightweight, hydrating gel-like texture might appeal to some users. I'm not sure about its effectiveness on pores and wrinkles. With previous retinol products, I felt like I saw improvements the next morning, even if it was just psychological. With this one, possibly due to dryness, my skin sometimes looked worse the next day. It worked better when I applied a rich, hydrating serum underneath. Also, I got blemishes on my neck when I used it there. - ks**********Combination SkinSensitive SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRednessDead Skin CellsRecommendedApr 7, 2024
I bought this a few years ago to help with pores that developed from squeezing acne. After using it for about 3-4 weeks, I noticed the pores on my cheeks have slightly reduced! It doesn't cause any tingling sensation and applies smoothly without any issues. It has a fluorescent yellow color, and if not applied carefully, it can leave a yellow tint on the skin. - ey*****Combination SkinInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityRecommendedApr 5, 2024
I've moved up to a higher concentration after using 300ppm retinal, and I'm happy to report no blemishes so far. I'll continue using it consistently and share a more detailed review later. There's nothing particularly disappointing about this product. I do think it would be even better if it came in a refillable bottle, but that's not really a big issue if you're diligent about your skincare routine. - qm******Combination SkinSensitive SkinSebum/BlackheadsRecommendedMar 2, 2024
I tried the 300ppm version of this product and liked it, so I decided to purchase this higher concentration. There aren't many retinal products out there, and this one is relatively affordable, making it easy to use without hesitation. I'm not sure how high 1000ppm is in terms of concentration, but since you don't apply these products as liberally as creams, I think it should last about 2-3 months. When I used the 300ppm, my skin felt moisturized and free of dead skin cells, which was great. With this product, I've noticed some blemishes appearing, making me wonder if the higher concentration might be too much for my skin. However, blemishes can be caused by various factors, including digestive issues, so I can't definitively blame this product. Despite the higher concentration, which can sometimes cause flaking, I haven't experienced any dead skin cell buildup. Also, it's fragrance-free. The only downside might be the shipping fee. As for the product itself, I haven't found any significant drawbacks so far. - ki*********Dry SkinRecommendedFeb 28, 2024
With consistent nightly use, you can definitely feel your skin improving. The texture is a bit thick, making it difficult to apply just a small amount. - jk****Combination SkinSebum/BlackheadsRecommendedFeb 21, 2024
• Honest review from a personal purchase • Affordable and easy to apply • Contains 1000ppm retinal for effective results • Can be applied to both face and neck • Best used before bedtime • Has a moisturizing yellow cream texture • No major drawbacks, but I wish the packaging design was a bit more sophisticated • Apply in the evening. For first-time users, start with the 500ppm version - hj******Dry SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRednessDead Skin CellsRecommendedFeb 15, 2024
After using Retinal 300, I bought this product. I purchased it for my neck and body. I was worried about using it on my face, but fortunately, it worked really well for me! I mix it and apply it to my face and neck 3 times a week. I apply the 300 directly. For the face, it seems like it needs more time to adapt to direct application. If I experience excessive dead skin cells the next day, I switch back to the 300. The Retinal 300 and 1000 have become my essential items! I hope Dermafactory maintains these prices absolutely! There's nothing particularly bad. I just wish they would release a product with an even higher concentration of retinal! You should use an amount about the size of a pea! I'm applying the 1000 to body areas that need pigmentation treatment or firming. For those with sensitive skin, try applying a moisturizer first, then the 300, followed by another layer of moisturizer to finish. This method might work well for you. - qu******Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsWrinkles/ElasticityRednessDead Skin CellsRecommendedFeb 11, 2024
Pros: - No irritation - Affordable price - Absorbs well Great for beginners As with everything, there are pros and cons Less effective than the 1% retinol I used before But due to the irritation...
