Since it's a product with high oil content, you may experience some pilling and separation on the face as time passes. I use a dedicated highlighter sponge for this product. After applying your base, lightly touch it on prominent areas like the forehead, nose, lips, and cheeks, then blend with the sponge. The subtle shimmer is perfect for daily use. I bought it during a sale, which made it an even more satisfying purchase at a great price. I wish the shimmer particles were a bit finer. Also, being in a balm form, it's challenging for those with very oily skin to use in summer. This stick highlighter is exactly as I imagined! The pearls aren't too intense, giving a healthy-looking glow that's just noticeable enough. It creates a dewy effect, almost like that coveted 'glass skin' look. I'm absolutely in love with it! It melts more easily than expected when applying, so it might get messy in summer. And like all stick highlighters, it can lift your base makeup - that's unavoidable. However, if you use a thin layer of foundation and a light dusting of powder, it won't lift. Always apply it gently with your fingers in small amounts, rather than swiping it on directly multiple times. The glow is truly natural and beautiful. All other powder-type products never suited me, but this one is easy to use and I really like it.
