I ordered this with high hopes after seeing many reviews praising its moisturizing and rich texture. While it didn't cause any blemishes, the experience was quite different from what I expected. My face felt extremely tight after application. It had a sticky feeling, yet there was a strange sensation of persistent dryness. I've started using it like a mask, applying it and then washing it off before following up with a different cream. It's actually quite soothing this way.

I started with small amounts and gradually increased. Ended up using it well without any blemishes. In winter, no matter how much I slather on other creams, my skin feels dry by morning. But with this product, it truly stays moisturized and supple until morning. It's too sticky to use during the day. I only use it as a night cream. Great hydration. The ingredients seem better than the original Elensilia, and it's slightly less sticky. The moisturizing effect is subtly less intense compared to the original - it feels a tad less hydrating.

When I apply a generous amount before bed, I wake up with hydrated skin that's perfectly prepped for makeup. As someone with oily skin, I found the texture too sticky and the scent a bit off-putting.

It feels a bit lighter on the skin. While it was always moisturizing, it now seems to have a more elastic texture when applied. I'm quite satisfied. In the past, during harsh winters or seasonal changes, it would sometimes sting or itch, but now it seems gentler. The renewal has improved the ingredients. I don't have any complaints about the cream itself. However, when purchasing online or through home shopping, I wish the product sets were a bit more practical. Instead of offering huge sets with 5 or more tubes and lots of extras, it would be nice to have smaller sets of 2 or 3 tubes with just one extra item at a more affordable price. When too many extras are included, I often end up not using them all and have to throw them away. That's why I've started buying individual items, but still... sets with 2 or 3 tubes and a decent combination would be ideal. If you want to use it with a thinner consistency, try mixing it with your toner. It becomes much more fluid that way. None whatsoever Citric acid and shea butter tend to cause blemishes for me. I've used Ellensilia snail products before, but when I bought this new release, it didn't suit my skin at all. I wish they'd go back to the previous formula.
