I bought a shade lighter than my skin tone, but it didn't make my face look floaty. Being bright, it could work beautifully as a highlighter on the nose bridge or forehead. True to Luna, it provides good coverage. It seems to settle into fine lines less than other concealers. I have a lot of fine lines, but I didn't notice any creasing! Even though I have oily skin, it emphasizes dead skin cells. No matter how carefully I control the amount and diligently do my skincare... If I apply powder on top, it accentuates the flakes even more, but if I don't use powder, it wears off due to oil. It's quite a dilemma. The staying power isn't bad, but after some time, the color becomes dull and seems to fade away. You really need to be careful with the amount you use. It tends to emphasize skin texture a bit, so I recommend using a primer before applying this! - Hwahae UserDehydrated SkinSensitive SkinMar 10, 2024
20s/Cool tone 21/Combination dehydrated skin/Redness/Sensitive skin type This high-coverage concealer doesn't seem to cake or clump. After applying base makeup, it sets well when used for coverage. What I'm most satisfied with is that it doesn't have any yellow undertones! However, it feels a bit thick, so you need to be careful with the amount you use. When applied under the eyes, it can actually make dark circles more noticeable...! - Hwahae UserDehydrated SkinSensitive SkinFeb 23, 2024
The shade is slightly lighter than skin tone 17. While most concealers tend to appear a bit darker on the skin, Luna's 0.5 shade is perfect for those with fair complexions looking to subtly brighten darker areas. As it dries, it becomes stiff and sets in a way that feels parched. In delicate areas like under the eyes where the skin is thin, it can accentuate fine lines and create a dry sensation. It also tends to emphasize skin texture and unevenness. - Hwahae UserDry SkinJan 13, 2024
Excellent color payoff - Even with a small amount, it matches the concealer color you see perfectly when applied to the skin! Great for shade 21 too - As long as you don't apply too much, it's perfect for brightening your face by one shade! I was worried it might look unnatural, but it gives a natural and radiant tone-up effect. Liquid texture / Thin tip - The non-thick formula is great for mixing with salmon-colored lipstick, and the thin tip is perfect for applying small amounts to blemish areas! Matte finish - This would be ideal for those with oily skin or anyone who prefers a matte look. I have dry skin, but it pairs well with a matte cushion for a matte summer makeup look. Too dry for winter use - Being matte and since I have dry skin, it can be a bit drying when used in winter, and there's a slight emphasis on dead skin cells. However, this can be resolved by applying more hydrating skincare than usual, so I don't consider it a major drawback. I'd recommend those with dry skin to use it in summer! I have dry skin and prefer using moisturizing cushions. 1. When applying over cushion foundation: - Apply a small amount to areas with darkness or use it as a highlighter on areas you want to brighten, like the bridge of your nose! 2. When applying before cushion foundation: - Use more skincare products than usual and apply it like foundation - it looks surprisingly pretty!! Be careful as it can emphasize dead skin cells if your base skincare is too light. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinSep 27, 2023
It applied with excellent adherence. It's hard to find such a bright shade, but it was perfect for cool undertones in the 17-19 range. I bought it because it was popular, but it was too drying and severely emphasized dead skin cells and fine lines. It didn't work for blemishes or dark circles either - it just sat on top of the skin, making it unusable for anything. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinAug 27, 2023
The coverage of Luna is truly impressive... I absolutely love it! Although I have a light skin tone and use shade 21, I wanted to try something even brighter. It turns out it can be used as a subtle highlighter for a luminous effect. It does an excellent job of concealing blemishes. I have super sensitive skin and had a terrible reaction to a concealer I used before, but thankfully, this one doesn't cause any irritation or breakouts. I'm able to use it without any issues. What I love most is the generous amount of product you get! To be honest, I'm not sure how well it covers dark circles. It feels a bit stickier than I expected. It also tends to accentuate skin texture more than I'd like... Remember, you shouldn't apply too much at once. Use small amounts for the best results! - Hwahae UserDry SkinAug 2, 2023
I bought this for highlighting, and it achieved exactly the look I wanted! It gives a beautiful highlight in a shade that's about a 13, which suits my complexion perfectly. It even manages to brighten up my dark circles to some extent. It's not particularly hydrating. The product goes on a bit thick, and as time passes, it dries out, emphasizing dead skin cells. There's also a slight creasing under the eyes. It seems to look even more noticeable in winter. I think it would work well if you control the amount and apply it with a brush! - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinJan 17, 2023
I was looking for a shade that perfectly matches my 13-17 skin tone, and this is just right. After applying, wait a few seconds and then pat it in - it provides great coverage. For a concealer, it's not overly drying. When used on dark circles, it tends to crease and cause a mess. Just apply a small amount on blemishes or spots. Be very careful - if there are any dead skin cells or if you pat too hard with the puff, it immediately emphasizes flakiness.
