As expected from the famous Luna concealer, it adheres thinly and blends well, plus the generous amount is a bonus. I bought a lighter shade hoping to use it as a highlighter, and it's definitely bright. It doesn't seem to cover dark areas very effectively. I wouldn't recommend buying this if you're looking to brighten darker spots. This concealer works best for subtle brightening and highlighting rather than heavy-duty coverage. It's great for achieving that "Inner Glow" look, but may not be suitable for those needing more intense blemish concealment. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinApr 5, 2025
Skin Type & Tone: Blemish-prone (with hyperpigmentation), oily, shades 17-19 Experience: The shades 17-19 are great for daily use, and even those with slightly darker skin can use it to brighten their complexion. It applies smoothly without feeling thick or heavy. When applied thinly with controlled amount, it somewhat covers redness, though not completely. Applying it thickly or in multiple layers can lead to pilling. Once applied, it sets to a powder-like finish without transferring and adheres well to the skin. However, as time passes, even with a good base, it tends to emphasize dead skin cells and leaves the skin feeling deeply dry. I bought this because of its reputation as a concealer, but it was quite disappointing. In my opinion, the coverage and longevity were all disappointing. Also, despite trying to control the amount, the product kept leaking from the sides, making a mess. - Hwahae UserDehydrated SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinDec 27, 2024
I have a cool undertone, and (usually I'm around shade 13-15 in winter, but after visiting a warm country and getting a bit of a tan), I think I'm now about shade 17-19. Buying the Porcelain shade was a perfect match for my skin tone. I highly recommend this for cool-toned people around shade 17-19! The semi-matte concealer feels just right for my combination dehydrated skin. As expected from a concealer, it provides better coverage than cushions or foundations. This isn't just about Luna, but a point of improvement for most concealers - I wonder if it's possible to have concealers in a pump format like foundations? For someone like me who uses concealer with a damp sponge, a pump would be ideal. I want to apply it directly to a damp sponge, but I'm concerned about the hygiene of the tip brush touching the moisture. So I carefully dampen only one side of the sponge, apply the concealer to the dry side, and alternate between sides while patting it on. With a pump, I could simply dampen the sponge and pump the product directly onto one side for easy application. This inconvenience sometimes makes me wonder if I should just use foundation instead. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinMay 21, 2024
Even with a thin application, the coverage seems pretty good. I'm satisfied with this concealer as a budget-friendly option. It's a bit drying. There's some slight creasing, so you'll need to moisturize well before applying it. - Hwahae UserDehydrated SkinMar 2, 2024
Layering thin applications multiple times provides excellent coverage. The absence of yellow undertones makes it perfect for cool-toned skin. Tends to crack significantly when applied in winter. The applicator tip might be challenging for beginners to control the amount. Falls short in completely concealing dark circles. For a smoother makeup application that's less likely to separate, try applying a thin layer of concealer on bare skin where coverage is needed, then fill in the rest of the face with cushion foundation or liquid foundation. This works better than applying concealer over foundation. - Hwahae UserDry SkinFeb 16, 2024
I bought this product thinking I might use it as a highlighter, but since it brightens the base so well, I couldn't use it that way. However, its coverage is amazing! It goes on smoothly in thin layers without caking or patchiness. Plus, the generous amount means it'll last a long time. Even if I tried really hard to find a downside, I couldn't discover any for this product... It's just that good. - Hwahae UserNormal SkinSensitive SkinMay 10, 2023
As someone with very fair skin, usually between shades 17-19, I've always found typical 21 shades too dark. But this product is wonderfully light! I use shade 0.7 for covering spots on my forehead, and 0.5 for brighter areas like cheeks and freckles. It doesn't settle into lines and applies smoothly with a hydrating feel. Sometimes I even use it as a light foundation alternative! Naturally, being so hydrating means its coverage isn't exceptionally high. - Hwahae UserOily SkinMay 9, 2023
I needed a concealer and remembered liking this one before, so I bought the Luna concealer again. Overall, I'm really satisfied! I usually use shade 17, and it blends seamlessly with my cushion foundation without looking out of place. It's great for covering dark circles and blemishes on my cheeks. I tried applying it with a spatula for a thin layer, but it went on thicker than expected. So I found that putting a bit on the back of my hand first, then applying with my ring finger gives better control. This way, it adheres well to the skin, goes on thinly, and still provides good coverage. It even works well for covering pores around the nose! I don't have any complaints so far! However, since I don't use concealer very often, I might opt for the mini size next time I purchase it. - Hwahae UserDry SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinFeb 27, 2023
I mix the Atobarrier cream with this concealer and apply it in a thin layer. Then I dab a bit extra on any blemishes I want to cover, let it dry, and gently blend the edges. The staying power and coverage are fantastic! There's not really anything bad to say. It can be a bit drying, as concealers often are, but applying it thinly seems to be key. I keep repurchasing it! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinJan 3, 2023
▪️Skin Type - Sensitive/Combination ▪️Scent - Slight cosmetic fragrance, but not overpowering ▪️Texture - Not too thick, slightly runny, spreads thinly ▪️Pros - Great for those with fair skin as Luna offers diverse shades - Perfect shade for highlighting the base - Spreads evenly without caking - Affordable price point - No blemishes even on sensitive skin - Semi-matte finish, doesn't transfer much to masks ▪️Cons - Tends to break down a bit messily over time - Low coverage
