When first applied to the skin, it glides on smoothly. The Luna concealer has great color payoff, which I really appreciate. I understand they're aiming for high coverage, but it feels dry and cakey after a while. I wouldn't recommend this for those with dry skin. As someone with super sensitive skin, I always look for products that absorb well without causing irritation. While this concealer has some good points, it might not be the best choice for those struggling with deep dryness or combination dehydrated skin. It's important to find a product that maintains a good oil and moisture balance for your specific skin type. - lo************Combination SkinRecommendedJun 30, 2025
Now I understand why Luna concealer is so famous... Its coverage is absolutely stellar! No wonder it's gained such popularity! Even though I apply it quite thickly, I'm amazed that it doesn't cause any blemishes! It's truly remarkable! The Luna concealer seems to offer excellent coverage without irritating the skin, making it a standout product in the cosmetics world. Its ability to conceal effectively while being gentle on the skin is particularly noteworthy, especially for those with sensitive skin or prone to breakouts. - gi**********Combination SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesEnlarged PoresRednessJun 29, 2025
The color matched my complexion fairly well, which I liked. It felt nicely hydrating on my skin. To be honest, I'm not sure about its coverage. It tends to separate after a while. You absolutely shouldn't apply it around the nose area. No matter where you put it on, it seems to rub off as if someone had smudged it with their finger. - ji***********Oily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesEnlarged PoresRecommendedJun 27, 2025
The brush tip is pointed, allowing for a thin, even application. The adherence and coverage are top-notch, and the staying power is impressively long-lasting. It's great for covering blemishes with a thin layer, preventing clumping and ensuring a clean, polished look. When using the product, I found the slightly thick and heavy texture a bit disappointing. If you're not careful with the amount, it tends to apply a bit too thickly, which is a drawback. - sa**********Combination SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessEnlarged PoresDead Skin CellsRecommendedJun 23, 2025
For those with dry skin, whether it's summer or winter, if you just put a tiny bit of effort into your skincare routine, this foundation covers beautifully without any patchiness. The shade range is also really lovely. On days when I've been a bit careless with my skincare routine, especially when touching up my makeup, it can look slightly patchy. - zi****Combination SkinSensitive SkinAtopic SkinRecommendedJun 21, 2025
Ideal for fair skin tones (shades 13-19) If your skin is lighter than the product, use it to brighten areas like your nose and forehead! Applying with fingers gives better results than most foundations - you can achieve a thin, even layer! Doesn't cause blemishes I used to use Luna's gentle version for blemish prevention before they released shades lighter than 0.5, 0.7, and 1. That gentle version was a bit lighter than shade 1! If shade 1 suits 20, 21, or 22 skin tones, then: 0.5 is perfect for shade 13 0.7 works well for shades 15-17, suitable for both warm and cool undertones It might be too light for full coverage on shade 13, but great for brightening! Likely good for shades 13-20. For 21 and up, try Luna shade 1. If you want to brighten your complexion, it's great for highlighting the forehead and nose! I've settled on Luna for my base makeup routine - just sunscreen and concealer for dark circles or blemishes. I have summer cool light skin (13-19 range) with dry skin (Not too much variation, though I was matched as shade 11 at TirTir!) Most matte sunscreens and base makeup products look patchy on me and make my skin look messy over time, so I stick to sunscreen + spot concealing If you're like me, try Luna and if it works, stick with it I have a few other holy grail concealers too No real downsides. If you experience any blemishes after trying it, switch to something else! I'd also recommend The Saem, Clio, or NARS. 0.5 is perfect for shade 13 0.7 works well for shades 15-17, suitable for both warm and cool undertones It might be too light for full coverage on shade 13, but great for brightening! Likely good for shades 13-20. For 21 and up, try Luna shade 1. - wd********Dehydrated SkinSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesInner DrynessEnlarged PoresDead Skin CellsRecommendedJun 16, 2025
The foundation adheres well and provides excellent coverage. It's not too yellow, making it great for cool-toned skin types. It can slightly emphasize dead skin cells. It's best to pay attention to skincare before applying this product. If applied carelessly, it can pill when using a cushion. For best results, pat it in firmly at right angles. Make sure to close the lid tightly, as it can become dry when moisture evaporates. - ga*******Dry SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsDark CirclesInner DrynessEnlarged PoresDead Skin CellsRecommendedJun 15, 2025
Trustworthy Luna! After trying the 0.7 shade, I'm impressed - it doesn't cake on the skin and provides great coverage! I always recommend Luna concealers. If you control the amount well, you can use it without your skin looking cakey. - da******Combination SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesEnlarged PoresRecommendedJun 8, 2025
Yes, it's absolutely fantastic. There's a reason why Luna is synonymous with concealer. When you think of concealer, you think of Luna, and vice versa. It's not just empty talk. Oh no. It crumbles way too easily. My makeup pouch is black, but I'm afraid it'll end up stained peach. I can't even carry it around with me. - 66******Dry SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedMay 31, 2025
The coverage is great and the staying power isn't bad at all. I have dry, sensitive skin, and this product works wonderfully for me. I plan to keep using it in the future. I've been using this for a while, but the price has gone up quite a bit. Apart from that, it's fine.
