It lathers up so well that you probably don't need a second cleanse. Seems perfect for a quick morning hair wash. The scent is a bit too rich for my taste. I bought this shampoo because it's supposed to improve hair texture! I got it at a great price during a refill promotion on the official website. My hair really does feel softer, and it's like there's a thin layer of conditioner left on, giving a smooth finish! While washing, my hair doesn't feel refreshingly clean, and it seems to get tangled more quickly. I recommend thoroughly wetting your hair and using just two pumps of shampoo. It lathers up really well that way. For those without extremely damaged hair like mine, I highly recommend this for busy mornings when you want to skip conditioner and get ready faster. Packaging: It takes up little space compared to its volume, which was great for my small bathroom in my studio apartment. Scent: Honestly, it's the best scent among all the shampoos I've used in my life... it's my holy grail scent. I usually washed my hair in the evening, and this became my pre-bedtime healing ritual. Price: I think it offers good value for money considering the volume and quality! Actual usage review: I'm writing this after finishing an entire bottle. As someone with extremely dry skin from head to toe, I was looking for a product with good ingredients, decent cleansing effectiveness, and an affordable price - and that's how I ended up buying this. However, it was too drying for my scalp in the dead of winter and too heavy in summer (I tend to sweat a lot and get overheated). So I mainly used it in spring and fall, or as a second shampoo after a stronger cleansing shampoo to add hydration. While it might not have been the perfect match for my super dry scalp, I keep thinking about it because of its amazing scent. If fragrance is important to you, I highly recommend this! I stumbled upon this at Olive Young and it's become my holy grail shampoo - I'm already on my third bottle! My hair has been through a lot with perms, dyes, and whatnot, leaving it seriously damaged. Both my scalp and hair are extremely dry, but this shampoo leaves my locks noticeably moisturized. Even after drying, my hair feels incredibly soft, which I absolutely love. It doesn't strip away too much oil from my hair or scalp, making it perfect for those with dry scalps like me. Despite being hydrating, it doesn't make my hair greasy quickly, and it cleanses effectively too. I'm beyond satisfied - there's literally nothing I dislike about it! I tried this 'morning shampoo' on a day when I washed my hair in the morning. Just shampooing alone made my hair incredibly soft and silky! The fragrance is lovely too. It lathers up nicely and feels good to use. The scent is pleasant, and it seems to have good cleansing effectiveness. I also love that it comes with plenty of gratis items! I wish the volume was a bit larger! I've tried it once, but I'm not sure if it's actually beneficial for hair loss.
