When it gets too dry, mixing it with an ampoule works really well!!

You must go to the store and test the MAC foundation before purchasing. Otherwise, it may look cakey or fade.
The cushions or foundations sold at Olive Young may fit the tone a little off, but they are generally fine... But with the MAC foundation, since the color pigment is so strong, if the color doesn't match, it really looks cakey and weird.

Before purchasing, I looked into the most popular department store foundations, and decided to try the most famous yet affordable product. This is my review after using about half the bottle.
For reference, I use shades 21-22. I have troubled skin with pigmentation and redness, and fortunately this product matched my skin tone well after purchasing it online.

It applies thinly yet adheres well. It glides on smoothly and has a semi-matte finish. As you can see in the photo, I didn't use any concealer, and only applied the foundation once, yet the coverage is still great. The yellow undertone helps conceal my blemishes and redness well. It also has good staying power and doesn't cake or flake.
This product is incredibly satisfying for me.

I think using the powder compact with it is really nice!

Ugh, everything's great, but when you first buy it, there's no pump :((
So I had to buy one separately on Coupang. I just used it with the cap for a month or two, but I found it really inconvenient ㅜ

After 4 years of being a nomadic foundation user, I finally found the perfect foundation for me!!

I have a lot of acne on my chin and cheeks, and my skin is dry, so the foundations I've used before (Estée Lauder, April Skin, etc.) would get cakey and emphasize flakiness when I used them in the winter. The April Skin one didn't cause any more breakouts or anything, since I heard the ingredients are good, but the Estée Lauder foundation would bring up something new on my face every time I used it, and it just didn't work for my dry skin.

Then I happened to buy a foundation and powder compact(?) during a MAC sale, and the oil control was just right, and using the compact with it made my skin look so smooth and flawless!! (I don't really like the dewy look, haha)
And even though I used it without knowing the ingredients, I didn't get any more breakouts. And even in the winter, there was no cakiness - if anything, as time went on, the oil in my skin made the makeup look even more seamless. 
I feel like this foundation looks even better a little while after application, rather than right when you put it on.

It's a bit inconvenient that the pump isn't sold together with it. It would be great if they sold them as a set.

I haven't used foundation much before, but I really like it now that I've tried it for the first time.
My skin looks bright, and when it gets a bit hot, the NC21 shade is just perfect.

It's hard to find places that sell the nc12 shade. The coverage isn't the best, but it's the best for skin tone correction.

🌼Tools - A finishing sponge would be helpful. The main tool can be your fingers, a sponge, or a brush, but for me, applying it in sections on my face and then buffing it out with the Innisfree Water Drop Foundation worked best. I'm currently trying the Rom&nd brush, but having to keep feeding the foundation feels burdensome.

🌼It pairs well with the MAC Strobe Cream.

🌼Your skin still needs a bit of moisture for the makeup to apply well. Otherwise, it will just cling.

🌼In that sense, it may be difficult for those with extremely dry skin to use.

🌼It can be a bit irritating to the skin. On days when my skin condition is poor, I feel like my skin hurts when I apply it. That's why I'm taking off one star.

🌼Coverage - Medium to High / It covers quite well. Just true to the essence of foundation. And it covers beautifully. It gives a natural glow to the skin while semi-matte, so the bumps and unevenness are barely noticeable.

🌼Adhesion - High / This foundation seems just right for my oily skin. Matte foundations were hard for me to use because they made my skin feel dry, and dewy foundations would just break down unevenly with the oil, so I went through over 10 different ones before settling on this one. There's no transfer when I put my phone to my cheek, and it breaks down beautifully without getting oily. So I don't have to carry a touch-up cushion with me. I just bring a powder compact to blot the oil that comes through occasionally.

When first applying the foundation, the color can look much lighter than what's in the bottle. But once it's fully set, the color deepens. 

It's best to test the shade on your skin, not just swatch it on the back of your hand. Make sure to really pat it in to see the final, dried-down color before purchasing.

The chemical, rubbery scent is quite strong. Even though I'm not overly sensitive to scents, I found it quite potent. Those who are more sensitive may have a hard time with it.

- Pump Sold Separately
It's not a pump-dispenser product, so you'll need to purchase a pump separately. But the pump is only 3,000 won and the foundation itself is affordable, so it's not too much of a burden.
