It's so gentle that even when I applied it on days my skin was really damaged, it didn't sting or cause much irritation! It left a slightly sticky feeling and my skin felt a bit itchy. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinDec 28, 2019
When blemishes or pimples are about to flare up, I generously apply this before bed. It significantly reduces redness and flattens the bumps. It's quite hydrating too, so sometimes I even skip my moisturizer and finish my skincare routine with just this product! The downside is that the effectiveness can vary. Using it doesn't always guarantee immediate skin improvement. Occasionally, it even makes my skin itchy and tingly. I wonder what could be causing this issue... - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinOct 12, 2019
The quantity is generous and it feels smooth when applying. Unfortunately, my skin really dislikes this product. My skin doesn't agree with this at all. After applying it before bed, I wake up with rough, itchy skin and what looks like mosquito bites or hives. I only used it for a week, so I don't have any pro tips to share. It just doesn't suit my skin. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinNov 16, 2018
I'm really enjoying using this! My face feels less tight, and when I wake up in the morning after applying it, my skin feels so hydrated compared to when I don't use it. If I apply a bit too much, my forehead tends to feel slightly itchy. I have some small bumps on my forehead, and it seems like they might be becoming more noticeable? But this only happens on days when I use a lot. When I use a moderate amount as usual, it's totally fine! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinOct 25, 2018
The fact that it's fragrance-free and absorbs lightly is definitely a plus. It seems to balance oil and moisture, but might be a bit drying for those with dry skin. Three days after using this, my blemishes exploded. I thought it might be hormonal due to that time of the month, so I temporarily stopped using the ampoule. When my skin calmed down and my cycle ended, I tried it again... but then I developed small blisters, itchiness, and redness. The dermatologist diagnosed it as contact dermatitis. This ampoule was the only new product in my routine, so it seems to be the culprit. While the ingredients look good on paper, individual reactions can vary greatly. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAtopy SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinOct 23, 2018
When applied, it gives my skin a firm and supple feeling. It's not overly rich or sticky. I bought this thinking it was really gentle, with mostly positive reviews and no concerning ingredients. But oh no! I used the entire skincare set one evening, and the next day my cheeks, chin, and neck were so itchy. I wasn't sure if it was because I wore new clothes without washing them first or if it was the skincare. To be safe, I used different skincare products that night but patch-tested the original set on my inner arm. Sure enough, red spots appeared! I was so itchy all day but couldn't scratch for fear of leaving marks. I just kept tapping the itchy areas instead! For first-time users, it's crucial to do a patch test on your inner arm and observe for 24 hours before applying to your face! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinOct 12, 2018
I'm writing this review right in the middle of doing my makeup because I was so shocked when I looked in the mirror on the third day of using this! Why on earth aren't more people using this amazing product? Seriously! I have acne-prone, purulent, sensitive, milia-prone, and combination-to-dry skin, and I can confidently say this is the best acne product I've ever used. I'm not exaggerating when I say I've tried all the popular blemish treatments out there (Dr. Jart+ Cicapair, Etude House AC Clean Up Pink Powder Spot, various cica balms, tea tree spot treatments, Uriage Bariéderm Cica-Gel, Innisfree Bija Trouble Spot Essence), as well as countless sensitive skin products, but none of them worked for me. I'm singing praises for this one! Please don't discontinue it – go buy it now, everyone! Oh, and while others mention it being sticky, I didn't really feel that at all. It absorbed right away and left my skin feeling soft! The only downside is the disappointingly small amount you get for the price. Also, it doesn't seem to work as well on yellow, pus-filled pimples. However, it shows immediate effects on painful, large, and itchy blemishes! One thing that worries me is that I tend to build up tolerance to products after my skin adapts. I'm scared it might stop working after about a month of use. Apply a suitable amount to troubled areas during your nighttime and morning skincare routines.
