It's not greasy at all, but rather gives a sensation of deep hydration sinking in. I haven't found any drawbacks yet. What could there be? Maybe it's just good because it's fragrance-free and non-irritating? As someone with severe deep dryness, I finish my routine with a heavier, richer product after using toner, ampoule, and this cream.
