Application: - If Kamillen is the epitome of creamy hand creams, Chahong's hand cream has a thicker consistency. It's not extremely thick, but it does have a firm texture! Moisturizing power: - Personally, I found it very moisturizing! I used it not just on my hands but also on dry, cracked areas of my body like my legs. When I ran out of body emulsion and used this in a pinch, it kept my skin hydrated without any dryness or itching! Absorption: It absorbs quickly! It doesn't drip due to its thickness and doesn't leave a greasy feeling. However, it does feel a bit slippery! Lasting power: - I found the lasting power to be quite good! While it doesn't last forever, once applied, I didn't feel like my hands were dry again too soon. Scent: - I'm absolutely in love with the scent! It's like a more natural version of the green Kamillen cream. It's not artificial at all, but rather a subtle, natural fragrance that reminds me of forests or fresh grass. I really enjoyed the scent! Price: - In the $20 range, with a great scent, good moisturizing power even with a small amount, and a large quantity, I think it would make a great gift!
Cons- Like most hand creams, it feels a bit slippery when applied to the palms! I don't notice any discomfort elsewhere, but the palms feel quite slick since we use them to hold and grip things. - I didn't notice any wrinkle improvement, but looking at other reviews, it seems some people have seen effects in that area!
TipGiven its excellent moisturizing power and generous quantity, it might be good to use small amounts on other areas that need hydration, not just the hands! And since it feels quite slippery on the palms, it might be best to apply it only to the back of the hands!

First off, the scent is lovely. The subtle floral fragrance lingers, truly living up to its name by giving a cozy feeling. Especially now with COVID, we're washing our hands more frequently, so I go through hand cream quickly... This has the best scent among all the hand creams I've tried. Secondly, the hydration lasts long. When applied, it spreads smoothly with a slightly rich feel. Even hours later, when I wash my hands, I can still feel traces of the cream. As someone with extremely dry skin, I was very satisfied with this aspect! Lastly, it's gentle. I have atopic and sensitive skin, so if a hand cream has harsh ingredients, it can cause itching. However, I experienced none of that with the Chahong Snug Calming Hand Cream. Like its clean packaging, the ingredients are also gentle, making me want to repurchase and continue using it. This hand cream is ideal, definitely making me consider repurchasing!
ConsIt does have a bit of a rich texture, so when first applied, it might feel slightly slippery. It was fine for my dry skin, but this could be a hit or miss for some people.
TipA small amount is enough to moisturize thoroughly, so it's good to remember your personal ideal amount as you use it!

Here's what I liked about this hand cream: Fragrance: When first applied, it smells like a mix of floral and herbal scents, reminiscent of a flower shop. It's a unique chrysanthemum-like scent that grows on you. Highly recommended for those who enjoy chrysanthemum fragrances! Size: At 80ml, it's surprisingly generous yet compact enough to carry around without feeling bulky. Perfect for those who want a portable hand cream. Texture: Some reviewers mentioned it feels slippery, but I didn't find it bothersome. It's not greasy enough to make opening door handles difficult right after application. Recommended for those with less oily hands. Long-term effects: With consistent use, I noticed my hands took longer to feel dry again. Overall, I'd recommend this to fans of chrysanthemum or fresh floral scents, those with less oily skin, and anyone looking for a conveniently sized hand cream to carry around.
ConsStickiness: While the initial slip is fine, applying too much can leave an unpleasant, sticky feeling on your hands. Price: As a student, it's a bit expensive for everyday use. The satisfaction doesn't quite match the price point. (I received this as part of The Hwahae Testers program, so I wasn't too disappointed, but if I had paid for it myself, I might have been unsatisfied.) Hydration and longevity: It doesn't feel like it deeply hydrates, just provides minimal moisture to prevent dryness. The effects only last about 2-3 hours. I wouldn't recommend this to those prioritizing deep hydration and long-lasting effects, especially if you have very dry skin. For these reasons, I can't really recommend this product.
TipThe instructions suggest applying the cream to your nails as well. I tried this and found that my nails became less brittle and felt more moisturized, which was a nice bonus!

Texture The texture isn't too thick, but it's not overly runny either. It's just right for spreading evenly on your hands. After applying, in a few minutes, you get this feeling like your hands are coated in moisture. So, I'd recommend this to those who prefer a hydrating finish rather than a light, fresh one! 2. Scent When I first applied it, it had a genuine floral scent. Usually, when hand creams claim to be floral, they're just sweet and fragrant. But this one has a scent that reminds me of fresh flowers in a lush green forest. I find myself constantly sniffing it without even realizing it! I really loved it. Right after application, the floral scent is strong but not headache-inducing. After a while, it settles into a subtle, grassy fragrance. If I had to compare it to something, it's slightly similar to that 2000 won green tea perfume from Daiso.
ConsI mentioned that the texture feels like it coats your hands. If you apply a bit too much or use it too frequently, this coating feeling can start to feel oily, making your hands a bit slippery. It doesn't dry to a fresh finish, so you might find your phone slipping out of your hands. You'll need to be careful with how much you apply. Also, the scent is only noticeable when your hands are close by. If you prefer a strong, far-reaching fragrance, you might be a bit disappointed. You can apply more for a stronger scent, but keep in mind it might feel a bit uncomfortable due to the rich texture.
TipRecommended for those who want deep hydration that you can feel both inside and out!

Absorbs well The absorption is fantastic! It's not too thick or heavy, making it easier to apply than some formulas. But it's not a runny gel type either! Think of it as a moisturizer with just the right amount of hydration. 2. Moisturizing power One of the most important criteria when choosing a hand cream is its moisturizing ability! This one offers medium to high hydration. My fingertips tend to crack and chap more than the back of my hands, but when I apply this product, it creates a moisture barrier, leaving my fingertips feeling soft and supple. 3. Fragrance It smells like you've just walked into a flower shop and buried your nose in fresh blooms. Along with the floral scent, there's a hint of fresh green leaves, giving it a light and refreshing feel rather than a heavy one. To me, it's reminiscent of the L'Occitane hand cream scent.
Cons1. Slight slipperiness Due to the moisture and oil barrier, there's a bit of shine after application. If you touch your phone or device screen right after applying, it leaves noticeable marks. This aspect was a bit disappointing.
TipI always apply hand cream after leaving my hands slightly damp and patting them dry. While this method might initially feel a bit slippery, I find that as the excess water evaporates, the cream actually absorbs better!

It's a dream come true to use it now. First off, the hand cream's scent is absolutely my cup of tea. I only read the description after using it, and it's exactly as described - the fragrance of fresh flowers. It's like walking into a flower shop! The texture is also fantastic. It doesn't have that typical hand cream slipperiness or stickiness (which I usually can't stand and avoid using because of it). It absorbs so smoothly, which I love. The generous size is another big plus. I'm thoroughly satisfied!
ConsThe scent doesn't last very long. I've been complementing it by mixing with Tamburins fey9 or Byredo Blanche. If you apply too much without controlling the amount, especially on your palms, it can feel a bit slippery. I usually only apply hand cream to the back of my hands, which is why I didn't notice much stickiness at first. But when I tried applying it to my palms as well, I did feel a temporary stickiness. I wouldn't say the price is particularly cheap... While I'll probably continue to buy and use it, it's not a price that leads to an easy, guilt-free purchase.
TipAs mentioned earlier, mixing it with other scented hand creams really brings out a natural feel.
