It's rich but absorbs well and has decent absorption. Above all, the hydration is top-notch! When applied at night, it keeps your skin moisturized until morning. The scent isn't bad either. It's like a mix of grass with a hint of floral notes? There's a calming herbal aroma that might make it suitable for men to use as well. There weren't any particular downsides. I'd like to purchase the full-size product later. - Hwahae UserOily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinFeb 27, 2023
I loved the subtle blend of green and floral scents, creating a delightfully gentle fragrance Perhaps due to its subtlety, the scent doesn't last as long as I expected - ha********Oily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsEnlarged PoresRecommendedFeb 27, 2023
It's not exactly floral, but more like the scent of flower stems with a fresh twist - quite unique! The fragrance reminds me of Huxley's Moroccan Gardener, with that invigorating aroma. The rich texture suggests it's quite hydrating too. The finish isn't particularly light, so I wouldn't recommend it if you're looking for a fresh, non-greasy feel. - dl******Dry SkinRecommendedDec 16, 2022
1. The ingredients are good. I was shocked to find that most hand creams have poor ingredients... After avoiding famous brands due to their ingredients, I chose this hand cream from Chahong, known for hair products, because it only had one potentially harmful ingredient on Hwahae! I believe the products we use daily directly or indirectly affect our health, so ingredients are important to me! 2. Above average absorption It doesn't just sit on top of the skin, but it doesn't absorb instantly either. Sometimes my phone gets a bit slippery! It has a decent absorption rate, above average! 3. Subtle floral scent I think fragrance is also important for hand creams (though it's hard to find both good ingredients and scent...) But I find the Chahong Snug Calming Hand Cream has a natural, rather than artificial, floral scent! In my opinion, the fragrance is comparable to expensive department store floral hand creams! It's like being in a flower shop? - The packaging isn't particularly attractive! While the contents are more important than the product packaging, it's not very pretty (laughs). Hand cream packaging these days is usually so nice! The front is okay, but in my opinion, the back looks a bit cheap! - Hwahae UserNormal SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsDark CirclesEnlarged PoresDead Skin CellsRecommendedNov 10, 2021Reviewed by The Hwahae Testers

I've been incredibly busy and it slipped my mind. Now, let me share my thoughts. I have generally dry skin, so I always make sure to use hand cream during the cold, dry months from early winter to early spring. What I like about this hand cream is that it's not greasy at all. Some hand creams leave your hands feeling slippery, which I don't enjoy, but this one has a rich texture that doesn't feel slick. It also seems to provide good hydration! The large quantity means it'll last quite a while even with regular use. The scent is somewhat herbal or grassy, which might be divisive. Personally, I'm neutral about it - neither love nor hate. However, if the fragrance were any stronger, it might have given me a headache (I'm extremely sensitive to scents due to chronic migraines, so I'm picky about fragrances in perfumes, emulsions, hand creams, shampoos, body washes, and all cosmetics). I'm not sure if it's just me, but there's a slight tingling sensation. It also feels a bit itchy... I'm not certain of the cause though. - cs*******Oily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedNov 9, 2021Reviewed by The Hwahae Testers

Since I don't wear rubber gloves for dishwashing, my hands often get dry and my nails aren't in the best shape... But when I applied this cream using proper hand cream techniques, my nails regained their natural color and my hands felt so soft and smooth! There wasn't anything I disliked about it. The amount is generous and I find myself applying it frequently. The scent might be divisive though. Personally, I prefer fruity fragrances, and while this has more of a herbal and woody scent which isn't my favorite, I'd definitely repurchase if they release other scents~ The only downside is that it's a bit pricey... - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedNov 8, 2021Reviewed by The Hwahae Testers

Application: - If Kamillen is the epitome of creamy hand creams, Chahong's hand cream has a thicker consistency. It's not extremely thick, but it does have a firm texture! Moisturizing power: - Personally, I found it very moisturizing! I used it not just on my hands but also on dry, cracked areas of my body like my legs. When I ran out of body emulsion and used this in a pinch, it kept my skin hydrated without any dryness or itching! Absorption: It absorbs quickly! It doesn't drip due to its thickness and doesn't leave a greasy feeling. However, it does feel a bit slippery! Lasting power: - I found the lasting power to be quite good! While it doesn't last forever, once applied, I didn't feel like my hands were dry again too soon. Scent: - I'm absolutely in love with the scent! It's like a more natural version of the green Kamillen cream. It's not artificial at all, but rather a subtle, natural fragrance that reminds me of forests or fresh grass. I really enjoyed the scent! Price: - In the $20 range, with a great scent, good moisturizing power even with a small amount, and a large quantity, I think it would make a great gift! - Like most hand creams, it feels a bit slippery when applied to the palms! I don't notice any discomfort elsewhere, but the palms feel quite slick since we use them to hold and grip things. - I didn't notice any wrinkle improvement, but looking at other reviews, it seems some people have seen effects in that area! Given its excellent moisturizing power and generous quantity, it might be good to use small amounts on other areas that need hydration, not just the hands! And since it feels quite slippery on the palms, it might be best to apply it only to the back of the hands! - sn*******Dry SkinSensitive SkinAtopic SkinNov 8, 2021Reviewed by The Hwahae Testers

It glides on smoothly and absorbs easily. It's not as thick as some famous hand creams with shea butter. Absorbs well: It's quite moisturizing, so it absorbs into the skin nicely. Hydration: While it does make my skin feel moist, as someone with dry skin, I find the hydration a bit lacking. I need to reapply frequently. Scent: It has a grassy smell... Personally, it's not to my taste. Actually, I dislike this scent... I don't think I can use it. The fragrance is really a matter of personal preference. The scent is so unpleasant that I feel the need to wash my hands again after applying. The scent is extremely strong, so if you're a fan of grassy fragrances, you could almost use this as a solid perfume. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedNov 8, 2021Reviewed by The Hwahae Testers

It reminds me of a luxurious hotel aroma... It's a familiar scent that I've encountered before, which made it even more appealing. However, those who prefer unscented products or dislike strong fragrances might find it a bit intense. Design: The white packaging looks so clean and sleek! The lettering has this stylish vibe to it. I'm relieved that the tube doesn't feel flimsy or prone to tearing like some thicker paper packaging. Texture and Hydration: The formula has a light, emulsion-like consistency that's perfect for frequent application without feeling heavy. It's not overly rich or greasy, which makes me want to use it more often. The lightweight texture is ideal for keeping your hands moisturized throughout the day. Personally, I prefer more subtle scents, so the initial intensity of the fragrance was the only slight drawback for me. Other than that, I didn't find any issues with the product. I recommend trying the 'tap-tap-tap' hand cream application method that Cha Hong suggested. It's a great way to pamper your hands! Don't forget to apply some to your cuticles for double the effectiveness. - 07*******Combination SkinAcne SkinRecommendedNov 6, 2021Reviewed by The Hwahae Testers

My usual hand condition: Normally, I don't feel much dryness, but recently due to frequent hand sanitizing because of COVID-19, I feel dryness even after just washing my hands. Application: The texture is thin like a regular moisturizer and spreads easily like an emulsion! It's not thick, so it's nice to apply without irritating the skin. No stickiness!! It absorbs quickly... Once it's fully absorbed, it leaves your hands moisturized without any stickiness, which I really like. The hand cream I used before was a bit thick, had a lot of oil, and absorbed slowly, so it was troublesome when I touched things after applying it. But this one absorbs quickly and isn't too oily!! Hydration: It's not sticky but provides great hydration... How is this possible?? Even after lightly washing my hands with water, the moisturizing effect was somewhat maintained. Scent: The scent might be a bit divisive, but I and most people around me liked it! When I smell this hand cream, it reminds me of dawn :) It's like smelling wildflowers in the grass under a blue pre-dawn sky before the sun has fully risen. It's a real grass scent + a hint of real flower fragrance. Packaging: The hand cream container has a twist-off cap, but the cap is small so it seems easy to lose. Is it just me... Also, the container is white, so it tends to get stained easily!
