After hearing that I should use a mildly alkaline product in addition to the acidic one I was using, I tried it and it definitely helped control my sebum production! The only downside is not with the product's performance, but rather my own improper usage..! I really love the Eezntree brand personally. 💙 For those with folliculitis, please use this product with caution. And instead of using it daily, it's better to alternate between this and a mildly acidic foam cleanser, only using this on days when your sebum and oil production is particularly problematic. 😊

Everyone, proper usage is so, so important!! 😢 I used this product for a few months without major issues, but then my skin suddenly flipped out (clogged pores, pustules, folliculitis galore). I kept trying to control the oil with this, but folliculitis...? Apparently those little mites love alkaline environments. I freaked out and immediately stopped using it, switching to a cleansing milk, mildly acidic foam cleanser, and avoiding any rich moisturizers. But even after all that, my wrecked skin didn't improve for about a week... 😢 I hope you don't make the same mistake as me, so I'm sharing this review.

I'm not sure if it removes makeup well since I always use it as a second cleanse, but it definitely does a good job of cleansing oily skin. I noticed a visible reduction in my acne after using this. This is the first time a foaming cleanser has helped with my skin troubles. I plan to keep repurchasing this going forward.
