It's slightly more viscous than water and feels hydrating. I love that it's fragrance-free. Since high concentrations of niacinamide don't agree with my skin, I mix a small amount with a lightweight first essence. I'm currently using it mixed with a first essence, along with my beauty devices. - mi**********Dry SkinRecommendedOct 8, 2024
I stumbled upon SVR products while searching for sunblock. Although not listed on Hwahae, I discovered this toner essence and serum while using their Vitamin C cream. It's truly an outstanding product when it comes to hydration and moisturizing. Since my skin felt dry before applying the Vitamin C product, I started using this toner essence. When layered, it provides a level of hydration comparable to a moisturizing cream. There's nothing I dislike about it. The only frustration is that it's often sold out during sales! - Hwahae UserDry SkinAcne SkinFeb 6, 2023
First off, I have slightly dry skin. As a toner, it does its job quite well. However, to get it to absorb, you need to keep patting it in with your hands for quite a while. The texture feels a bit slippery, and after applying it all, it leaves a slightly shiny finish that doesn't seem to absorb well. It doesn't make my skin feel tight, though. So while it seems effective, it's just not quite my cup of tea. I prefer the Tony Moly Mochi Toner, which gives the opposite effect. If you like products that leave a moisturizing film on your skin, you might enjoy this one. If you finish with a mattifying cream like a snail cream or the Aqua Angel Moisture Cream, it seems to balance out the shininess, so overall it's not really a big issue.
