It reminds me of a tea tree aroma with hints of lime. The fragrance is so intense that it wafts out as soon as you open the box. I've enjoyed the lovely scent every time I've washed my face this week. The solid texture suggests it won't crumble or become mushy over time. What I love most is that my skin doesn't feel tight after cleansing.
ConsAs someone with combination dehydrated skin, I had high hopes for this product. However, after washing, my skin feels slippery, giving the impression that I haven't rinsed thoroughly. Despite containing tea tree, which I thought would be gentle on my skin, I've actually developed small blemishes on my forehead while using this product. I suspect it might be providing excessive nourishment.

It would make a great gift. The scent is so lovely that my first impression was 'I can't wait to try this!' Being slightly acidic, I was curious about how well it would cleanse without leaving a slippery feeling, and it removes makeup effectively. For light makeup days, this cleanser alone seems sufficient for a thorough cleanse.
ConsI chose the Cica Green version hoping it would help my teen with acne. Using a foam net, it lathers up decently, but compared to newer products on the market, the foam isn't as rich and creamy. In other words, you need to work it quite a bit, and a lot of foam stays on the net, so you have to keep gathering it with your hands, which is a bit of a hassle. I gave up on using it for my teen. When I tried it myself, I noticed that due to its low pH, there's a distinct slippery feeling even after rinsing several times. I usually use low pH foam cleansers, but this Cica bar feels even more slippery. We only used it for about 4 days, so we didn't see any significant improvement in my teen's acne. When I used it, it was just okay. Considering the price, the effects, and the lather, it's just average overall.
TipPro tip: Wet the foam net with lukewarm water before lathering for a much richer foam. After use, it's hygienic to rinse the bar under running water and let it air dry.
