Despite being a soap scent enthusiast, strangely enough, I had never purchased a perfume from this brand famous for its various soap-like fragrances. Somehow, I was intrigued by interesting reviews describing it as an expensive(?) strawberry milk or rose milk scent, or a youthful rose soap fragrance. Even though I don't particularly like rose scents, I ended up buying this pricey perfume without even sampling it first. When I received it and sprayed it for the first time, to my nose, it smelled like an intensely concentrated rose scent, reminiscent of dried flowers so parched they'd crumble into powder. This was accompanied by an inexplicable severe nausea and headache, making me fear I'd made a huge mistake. A few days later, on a cool evening when I was feeling better, I decided to try it again. That's when I finally detected that famous rose milk or soap-like fragrance everyone talks about. While I wouldn't say it's incredibly amazing or a massive success, I found the scent somewhat satisfying. I think I might appreciate it even more as the weather gets colder.
ConsDepending on personal taste, this might not be a fragrance you'll immediately like upon first spray. It's definitely a polarizing scent that people either love or hate. You might need some time to get used to it too. The main takeaway here is that you should always sample a perfume before buying it. I broke out in a cold sweat thinking about how I nearly wasted a lot of money.

The soft and fragrant blend of musk, vanilla, and rose is absolutely delightful. It's not overly sweet... rather than a pure *rose* scent, it's more like a refined, soapy rose aroma. Perhaps a musky floral? I'm not well-versed in fragrance terminology, so I can only describe it this way. I'm typically sensitive to strong top notes in perfumes. My nose can't handle multiple spritzes, but as a fragrance enthusiast, I endure the initial intensity for a few minutes until the top notes dissipate, and then I'm in olfactory heaven. With this one, though, a single spray on the body and another on the neck and collarbone area doesn't hit you with an overwhelming scent. Instead, it's delicate and airy from the start - much lighter and softer than other perfumes. It causes less of a headache too! There's a subtle sweetness that's not cloying, and as it dries down, it transforms into a skin-like scent that makes you want to bury your nose in it and inhale deeply.
ConsThe only downside is that, being an eau de cologne, its longevity is somewhat limited. For comparison, if Gucci Bloom lingers until you return home, this one fades to a very subtle, clean skin scent by the time you get back. But I actually like this aspect too!
TipTo improve longevity, make sure your skin is well-moisturized. Using body wash and lotion from the same fragrance family can also help the scent last longer.
