The lid was nice and large, and I appreciated the gentle ingredients. After using it, I experienced no adverse reactions.
ConsThe scent has an artificial vanilla fragrance. The texture feels greasy, almost like applying oil. While it absorbs well, it's too oily for someone who prefers a more hydrating feel. It's greasier than Burt's Bees Unscented, though not excessively so. It's much less oily than Dr. Bronner's and less greasy than Blistex. However, it is more oily than Burt's Bees Grapefruit.

Here's what happened: A few months ago, I had to apply an antibiotic ointment to my lips for a few days. While it treated the issue, it left that area of my lips rough and dry. I thought I'd just use my regular lip balm, expecting it to get better quickly. But even after two weeks, it was still rough and weird. I tried everything I had at home - Vaseline, lip balms, aromatherapy oil balms, multi-purpose balms - but nothing worked. I'm a lip balm enthusiast with quite a collection of popular and highly-rated products. Feeling defeated, I rummaged through my drawers and found an unopened tube of this product, with only a few months left before expiration. I had forgotten I bought it! Not wanting it to go to waste, I started using it. After about 3-4 days of application, I absent-mindedly touched my lips while browsing the internet and realized they were smooth! This was the only thing I had changed in my routine. It accomplished what even more expensive and famous products couldn't do. I originally bought it thinking its only advantage was being safe for babies, but it actually restored my lips to their original state. I'm grateful to whoever created this product!
ConsAs I mentioned above, I initially bought this product solely because it was safe for babies. I wanted to try a gentle product. So my expectations weren't very high, but here are the downsides: 1. The scent is quite strong - it's a thick vanilla fragrance that I don't particularly like. It smells a bit old-fashioned. I deducted one star because of the scent. 2. The texture isn't particularly smooth or adherent to the lips. It applies somewhat thickly. However, in my case, I like using various lip balms, so I just use this one casually at home and don't worry about it too much.
