Unfortunately, there wasn't anything particularly good about this product... I bought this at a special post-pregnancy sale. As I have super sensitive skin, after shampooing, my face was covered in patchy redness. It even caused an itchy, allergic-like reaction. Despite the large size, I had to throw it away after just a few uses. It really didn't suit me at all... I think the ingredients just didn't agree with my skin. For those with sensitive skin, please do a patch test before using this product. - ch******Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedAug 11, 2021
Sebamed's Anti-Hair Loss Shampoo is a convenient pump-type product with a generous 1000ml size, perfect for the whole family. Its pH 5.5 mildly acidic formula balances the scalp while nourishing thin, brittle hair. Enriched with creatine and menthol, it strengthens hair roots and strands while providing a refreshing cooling effect. This shampoo quickly soothes hot, stressed scalps, promoting a resilient scalp and smooth hair. It's an ideal hair loss care solution for nourishing delicate scalps. The brush glides through without tangles, leaving hair sleek and manageable. Even in the afternoon, your hair stays fresh and oil-free, which is truly satisfying. It's slightly disappointing that it contains 4 out of 20 ingredients to be cautious about. - Hwahae UserNormal SkinRecommendedOct 1, 2018
It has decent cleansing effectiveness, but those who use hair wax or essence might find it a bit weak. Your hair feels soft and fluffy after use. It seems excellent for cleansing the scalp. (For me) it lathered well. After washing, my scalp feels refreshed and clean. Being a foreign product, it has a distinctive overseas scent... or should I say a foreign smell? Anyway, the fragrance is quite unique and very strong... It might be a love-it-or-hate-it situation. It doesn't dramatically reduce hair loss. - wl**********Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinAtopic SkinRecommendedAug 3, 2018
I never knew my hair could stop falling out like this! As someone with naturally fine, curly hair, I used to use Shiseido shampoo. Every day, I'd lose a handful of hair, and my mom would say, 'Oh, it's just because your hair is long.' But since switching shampoos, I only lose about three strands. It's unbelievable! I love this so much! Please don't discontinue it. Rooting for you, Sebamed! Not enough lather? Just use a bit more, problem solved! - re********Combination SkinSensitive SkinFeb 21, 2017
It effectively removes scalp sebum, keeping my hair fresh until evening and giving my hair roots a stronger feel. While it's great at removing excess oil, it can leave the ends of your hair feeling a bit dry. I'd recommend focusing application mainly on the roots. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinMar 15, 2016
It feels like my hair is becoming stronger, which gives me the impression that I'm experiencing less hair loss It doesn't lather well, so I end up using a lot at once. The container and the way the product comes out are inconvenient - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinMar 6, 2016
I was really worried about hair loss, but this product showed immediate results as soon as I started using it. I've repurchased and continue to use it. I've recommended it to friends, and they all have positive things to say about it too. It doesn't lather as much as some other shampoos, so keep that in mind if you prefer a shampoo that produces a lot of foam. There can be price differences between stores and online retailers, so make sure to compare prices before purchasing. - Hwahae UserDry SkinAcne SkinSep 9, 2015
I think the fact that it produces less foam might actually mean it has fewer harmful ingredients for the hair. I've noticed a decrease in the number of hairs falling out too. My hair feels dry and brittle. The cleansing effectiveness is weak. - dm********Dry SkinAtopic SkinApr 1, 2015
In the past, I used to worry about excessive hair loss when washing, but now it's noticeably reduced! There were even times I thought no hair fell out at all! I've repurchased after finishing the bottle. As others have mentioned, it doesn't lather well, so you end up using more product. It seems a bit pricey for the amount you get. I heard from my hairstylist that it's better to use acidic shampoos every 2-3 days rather than daily! - ch*******Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinMar 15, 2015
It's decent. My hair definitely didn't fall out more than usual. The menthol ingredient left a refreshing feeling after washing. The lightweight texture was certainly much better than the Korean big brand herbal anti-hair loss shampoos. It doesn't lather well. Really, it's hard to get a good lather. Also, the scent isn't like typical shampoos, so it might not be to everyone's taste. And it doesn't particularly improve hair growth, but that's common for all anti-hair loss shampoos, so I can't really count that as a negative. The high import cost combined with the small quantity makes it doubly expensive. Make sure to rinse thoroughly.
