The thin and dense cotton pads did not cause much irritation when wiping my skin. The pads also felt very moist, and the coolness was well-transmitted to my skin. The essence is really packed in there! It's super moisturizing! There's a clip so you can easily pick it up (sometimes two come along though..) It seems like a good option for those with oily skin, with the right amount of moisture. I'll have to use it more to know for sure, but I did get a bit of a soothing feeling on my skin as well.
Cons
I'm not sure if it's just me, but the lid doesn't seem to close tightly.. And when I used it during a time when my skin was really sensitive, it stung a bit.. But my skin didn't break out or anything the next day.

Pros
My skin is normally not too sensitive, it's extremely dry. I can use this product without any burden as I've used a lot of it, and the pad size is just right and adequate.
Cons
It's really stinging. Even though I usually don't feel that kind of thing, it's still stinging and the pad material itself isn't soft, so I don't think sensitive skin types can use this at all.

Storing it in the fridge and using it chilled helps a bit..

I am a Hwahae Trial Reviewer who was selected to use the Biprove Essence Pad for 6 days. (I have very dry skin that is prone to irritation😔) The storage container is neat and easy to open and close, and the tweezers can be stored inside the lid, allowing me to use the product with minimal hand contact (hygiene is 💯). The water-based essence is generously filled in the container, and if shaken improperly, it can slightly overflow (like a mini wave🌊). The cotton pad has a slightly gauze-like feel☁️. The texture is completely different from the carrot pads I used before - it's very thin and translucent, allowing me to apply it to specific areas that need moisture (I used it on my cheeks and forehead). Although thin, the pad is able to absorb a sufficient amount of essence, and the moisture remains for about 10 minutes. Even after removing the pad, my skin feels hydrated.
Cons
It was quite difficult to open the inner packaging when I first received the product!!ㅋㅋㅋ I tried three times but failed, so I had to tear it open forcefully, causing some of the essence to spill out ㅋㅋ. Personally, if I leave the pad on for more than 5 minutes, I feel a slight irritation. My skin doesn't turn red, but it has a slightly stinging sensation, so I've been using it for less than 5 minutes.

Skin Condition: Until 6 months ago, I was suffering from severe acne, but it has gradually subsided. :) My skin tends to react immediately to cosmetics, my condition, and even the water quality (even within Korea)! I usually have a few small bumps on my forehead and chin, and 1-2 pimples on my cheeks and temples. First of all, This is an essence pad, and I found the exfoliation to be quite good. In my opinion, this seems to be the main advantage. ;( The gentle exfoliation and the fact that it's an essence-containing pad provide both soothing and moisturizing benefits! The thin pad is also comfortable to apply on my cheeks or forehead. This pad can be used as a makeshift face mask. ;)

1. Absorbency The pad is fully soaked with essence. It is quickly absorbed into the face. It dries and absorbs quickly, even if used for about 10 minutes. The essence is not irritating, and the fermented scent like nuruk (Korean rice wine) is not bothersome. 2. Moisturizing power I placed it on my cheeks and forehead for about 5 minutes as a mask, then wiped my face with the remaining essence. After the essence was absorbed, my skin felt moist and the dead skin cells were smoothed out. After applying the cream, my skin remained moisturized until the next day. 3. Packaging and pads The package has an embedded tweezer for hygienic use. The pads were not irritating and not too thin, but fully soaked with essence. I liked that the packaging is eco-friendly.
