As someone with dry, flaky lips who needs to apply lip balm frequently, I've tried many products that were either too sticky or ineffective at soothing chapped lips. However, the Murumuru Plunge Lip Nutri Balm was surprisingly good. When applied, it doesn't dramatically change your lip color, but I noticed it gave my lips a subtle pink tint. That's why I use it often in my daily routine! Perhaps because it contains Vitamin B complex, it glides on smoothly with a glossy, hydrating finish without being sticky. I'm planning to use it consistently until it's finished! Despite being a lip balm I use frequently, I feel it's a bit pricey for what it is, possibly due to its ingredients. Honestly, if it weren't for Hwahae, I probably wouldn't have purchased or used it based on the price alone. While it's not as expensive as some high-end products, from a consumer's perspective... More importantly, I felt like I was developing blemishes around my lips. I'm not entirely sure if it's because of this lip balm, but they did appear... Unfortunately, these blemishes occurred during use and seemed persistent. - Hwahae UserDry SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinNov 9, 2021
This balm has been a lifesaver for my lips, which were starting to crack and develop dead skin cells due to the dry weather. It's not sticky, so I feel comfortable applying it even when wearing a mask. I find myself reaching for it often when I'm out! When I gently swipe it on before bed, I wake up to noticeably moisturized lips. The heavy feeling when applied makes it a bit awkward to use before meals. It seems best suited for times when you're not using your lips much (like before bed). Due to its high oil content, I think, when I over-applied it beyond my lip line, I noticed a tiny blemish appear. As I have oily skin, I'll need to be careful to apply it precisely within the lip borders.
