I've tried lip balms from Yuri**, Burt's*, Vase*, and Amore before, and I must say, this one's packaging is cleaner and prettier compared to others. In terms of application, it feels lighter and fresher than Yuri**. I've been using it for over ten days now. While its moisturizing power isn't quite as strong as Yuri**, I'd say it's similar to Burt's*. However, it feels less heavy, making it a bit better for outdoor use or frequent application compared to other lip balms. I've been experimenting by applying it before bed, but I'm a bit disappointed with how it feels in the morning. So, I'm planning to use Yuri** at night and this one when I go out. The fragrance-free formula is great, and I love that I can apply it worry-free thanks to its safe ingredients. While the ingredients are good, it doesn't seem to have any significant advantages over other lip balms. It's satisfactory for light application, but I'm hesitant to recommend it for deep hydration. Since the color is pink, I wish it had a slight tint - if the pretty color of the balm showed up on the lips, it would make me want to keep it even more! The quantity is a bit on the smaller side. I may have applied it generously, but after ten days of use, a lot of it is gone. Since it's not a heavy formula, apply it frequently! Especially during dry seasons like now, frequent application is the key tip. - Hwahae UserDehydrated SkinAcne SkinNov 10, 2021
1. A non-greasy feeling To be honest, I used to think that all lip balms were pretty much the same - Yuri Honey Lip Balm, Carmex Lip Balm, Vaseline, etc. I didn't really like the heavy, smothered feeling on my lips, so applying lip balm was kind of a hassle for me. But this one feels different somehow. It's not oily or greasy, but more like a bouncy, cushiony texture. It's hard to describe, but my lips don't feel stuffy or weighed down when I use it. 2. Unscented can be so good I used to use Carmex and got used to the cherry scent, so I thought I'd try something scented again. But after using this unscented one, going back to the scented ones just doesn't feel the same anymore... 3. It presses down on the flakes, rather than lifting them I'm one of those lazy people who sometimes start using lip balm and then forget about it. With balms that claim to 'exfoliate' the lips, I end up just peeling off the flaky skin later on. But this one seems to just gently press down on the flakes, making my lips feel smooth and moisturized right away. I don't find myself picking at my lips as much anymore! I'd recommend this to anyone who often forgets to apply lip balm regularly. Even though it's called 'Pinku', it doesn't actually have any color to it. That didn't bother me, but the price tag might be an issue for some. It's a high-quality essential item, so the cost reflects that. - Hwahae UserDry SkinAtopy SkinSensitive SkinNov 9, 2021
One-line review: I've found my holy grail product. Application: Unlike other balms that feel slippery, this one doesn't slide at all. It has a delightfully firm texture. While previous products I've used felt like applying oil, this one goes on with a satisfying thickness, similar to a night care balm. Longevity: When applied before bed, it's still there in the morning. Yet it doesn't feel heavy or uncomfortable at all. Interaction with lipstick: With other products, applying lipstick over the balm would diminish both the color payoff and the balm's effectiveness. However, this lip balm seems to enhance the lipstick application. Especially with tints, which can often feel dry or sticky over regular lip balms, there's no such issue when used over this one. Overall experience: As someone who talks a lot for work, my already dry lips tend to get even drier. I usually stock up on multiple lip balms, but after trying this product, I'm tempted to toss all my other lip balms. It's that satisfying. Moreover, as someone with sensitive skin, I find the feel of this product to be excellent. If I had to nitpick, the lack of color is slightly disappointing. While I usually apply lipstick over my lip balm, there are times when I reach for a tinted lip balm for convenience. So, I'd love to see a colored version of this product in the same formulation. There's no need for a separate night care balm. After using it for about ten days, I've noticed a significant reduction in dead skin cells. It's not a type that disappears quickly but stays on with a firm texture, making it suitable for both daily use and nighttime application.
