I've been dealing with cheilitis, so I was looking for a product without Red 202. I'm glad I found this one - the color suits cool-toned skin beautifully! My lips are super sensitive, and without fail, I break out in cold sores when I use lip products with forbidden ingredients. That's why I really need to stick to products with excellent ingredients, and this one is definitely in that category. It gives your lips a nice, lively touch while moisturizing. Definitely recommend it for those with fair skin! However, if you press too hard when applying, it can go on too thick and clump a bit. Being pregnant, my complexion looks terrible without lip color, so I bought this because the ingredients seemed safe. The shade is perfect for cool-toned skin too, which I love. I noticed a slight fishy smell at first, but now that I'm experiencing morning sickness and am more sensitive to scents, it's unbearable. This is truly a lip balm I've used at least 10 tubes of! I've recommended it to my friends and even gifted it to my mom. Unlike other lip balms that feel like they're just sitting on top, this one adheres well without being sticky. What I love most is how incredibly effective it is at removing dead skin cells from my lips! I received this as a gift and found the color payoff to be quite nice, so I've repurchased it twice after using up the first one. It's perfect for those days when you can't be bothered with a full face of makeup but still need to go out - just swipe it on and you're good to go! While there's nothing particularly bad about it, I can't help but feel the staying power could be a bit better.
