As a woman in her mid-30s with combination dehydrated skin, I've been using this product consistently for a few months now. The Elmor peel-off mask truly leaves my skin gleaming and radiant when I remove it! It's like it replenishes moisture while also giving a slight oily sheen - if that makes sense? Though I don't have particularly sensitive skin to begin with, I find it causes minimal irritation when peeling it off. Now that I'm in my 30s, I've realized it's time to really take care of my skin, so I'm willing to invest in quality products even if they're a bit pricier. I think this would work well for those with combination dehydrated skin like mine. Tip: For those who struggle with the mask tearing or not coming off in one piece, I apply it a bit thicker around the edges of my face. This seems to help it peel off more easily! Those with oily skin might find this a bit too rich. After peeling off the mask, make sure to pat your skin to help it absorb fully. - ce****Combination SkinRecommendedJan 20, 2025
Among peel-off masks, this one had the best hydration, lasting even until the morning after use. Previously, other peel-off masks left my skin feeling dry soon after removal. The slightly runny texture is great because you can apply more to areas that need it without the first layer pilling. Also, it doesn't contain alcohol, so it lacks that unpleasant scent typical of some masks. I love that a small amount is enough to maintain moisture. I used about 4g, which was plenty for a full application. The only slight downside is that it's a bit pricier compared to other peel-off masks. Using 4g as a baseline, I spread it thinly and evenly, then used the remaining amount to supplement areas that needed more. It doesn't pill, so layering is definitely possible. After 30 minutes, it peels off easily. - wo**********Oily SkinSensitive SkinEnlarged PoresRecommendedOct 26, 2024
I love how easy this is to use compared to regular modeling masks that are a hassle to mix and apply. It's so convenient! It was a bit tricky to peel off at first, but after a couple of tries, you'll be able to remove it cleanly. - cl*****Combination SkinSensitive SkinJun 15, 2024
It's moisturizing and easy to use. You just apply, let it dry, and peel it off, which is more convenient than wash-off masks. It's so hard to squeeze out that it makes me doubt my hand strength! - Hwahae UserNormal SkinAcne SkinRecommendedOct 7, 2023
It's so moisturizing and wonderful! I love how much easier it is to use compared to regular modeling masks. There's nothing bad to say. It's so easy to use compared to modeling masks that I have no complaints. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinFeb 24, 2023
Here's my review after winning and trying the Hwahae product! *Hydration As someone with combination dehydrated skin, I didn't feel extremely moisturized after using the mask. However, it wasn't drying either. It was more like... how should I put it...? Maybe slightly dry...? But without any tightness... That kind of feeling, you know? *Glow After using the mask, I noticed a glow on my face! It really made my skin look good with a radiant glow~ This glow actually made me think that the mask was more hydrating than drying. *Convenience I love modeling masks and usually use a powder version at home once every 1-2 weeks. But let's be honest, measuring it out... getting the consistency right... applying it on your face, then washing the container... it can be a hassle, right? This product, however, is super convenient as you just squeeze it out and use it. When I first got the product, I was eager to see its effects quickly, so I used it daily or every other day. But I noticed my face getting slightly red. It doesn't seem suitable for frequent use, unfortunately. Also, the price is a bit wicked... Once I finish this, I'll probably go back to my usual modeling mask. I'm not one to read instructions carefully, and since it was called a modeling mask, I initially applied it thickly like I usually do. For those who might think to use it like traditional modeling masks - don't! You need to apply it thinly. Also, it takes about 30 minutes to dry properly, making it easier to peel off. - hg*****Combination SkinAtopic SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsRecommendedFeb 4, 2023
You can easily do a modeling mask without any ingredients or tools. It adheres evenly to the skin even when applied thinly. It feels oily to the touch, but after removing the mask and patting, it absorbs quickly. The mask peels off cleanly and is more satisfying than expected. It's sticky, so if you're not used to it at first, it tends to set quickly, making it not easy to apply. You don't need to apply it too thickly. - sh****Combination SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedJan 7, 2023
Unlike other modeling masks, this product is incredibly convenient as you don't need to mix powder with water. You can simply apply it like a cream, making it a go-to product! After application, I loved how my skin felt smoother and had a nice glow. One slight drawback is that the product is quite thick, which affects how easily it absorbs. If applied too thinly, the mask becomes difficult to remove once it sets, which can be a bit of a hassle. - sh*****Dry SkinDark CirclesInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRecommendedDec 16, 2022
I love how moisturizing it is after use. It seems to brighten my complexion by the next day! If your home is dry, you might feel your skin drying out faster than the mask itself. I sometimes have to wash it off midway through... It works best when you use a humidifier and apply toner generously before using the mask! - rn********Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedDec 11, 2022
This was my first time using a modeling mask in a squeeze-and-apply format, and it was incredibly convenient. Despite applying very thinly, it sets quickly and peels off easily, which I loved. Even with my super sensitive skin, I didn't experience any irritation at all. The hydration lasted long after removing the mask. Oh, and the fragrance is subtle, so I don't think it'll be polarizing! There's a rich feel to it, so those with oily skin might find the finish a bit too much. If I really had to pick a flaw, it's that the price makes it difficult to repurchase.
