It was fascinating to see how the texture changed when I applied about three pumps to my dry face, massaged it in, and then gradually added water. It transformed into a foam, feeling like I was washing with a cleansing foam. Refreshing cleansing power For someone like me who usually only wears sunscreen, the cleansing effectiveness was excellent. It could thoroughly remove Dr.G's green mineral sunscreen in one go.
ConsThe overly thick texture felt irritating With my skin sensitized from retinol use, I felt a slight tingling sensation and irritation. Even when I wasn't experiencing retinol irritation, the thick texture still felt harsh on my skin. The fragrance was disappointing Personally, I don't like products with added fragrances. The powdery scent reminiscent of old-fashioned cosmetics was not to my liking.
TipRecommended for those with healthy skin who want the convenience of using a cleansing oil and foam in one step.

It brightens the complexion While it's not a dramatic 'Wow, my skin is so much brighter!' effect, after cleansing you'll notice a subtle 'Oh, my skin looks a bit more radiant!' kind of feeling. This was the best part for me. 2. Texture: Runny It's quite thin and tends to drip easily! When used with water, it produces a lot of foam. The lather isn't super dense, but it has a soft, gentle foam texture.
ConsAt first, I thought this product was similar to a cleansing oil when applied to the face, then lathered with water and rinsed off. However, if you don't use enough product, it can feel a bit dry on the skin! After using this product, my skin always gets patchy redness as shown in the attached photo. Those with super sensitive skin should carefully check the ingredients before purchasing! While many reviewers mentioned minimal deep dryness after cleansing, it might not suit my skin type as I felt quite a bit of tightness!

Smooth and moisturized skin 3. Skin looks brighter after washing 4. Feels like washing with milk (Contains more milk than purified water)
Cons1. Overpowering fragrance 2. Feels rough during initial application (may cause skin irritation) 3. Unsure if it thoroughly cleanses as an all-in-one product
TipAfter light makeup, if it feels dry, just dampen it slightly with water for a quick one-step cleanse. It's convenient and I like it.

Massage thoroughly, then add water to emulsify, cleansing effectively like a cleansing oil. [My Skin Type] Mid-30s, combination to oily. Currently experiencing seasonal skin blemishes. Usually blemish-free, but now dealing with skin issues and deep dryness. Recently sensitive, so strong cleansers cause discomfort. Even using micellar water on a cotton pad leads to tightness and discomfort. [Texture and Feel] Quite thin, but feels slightly tacky when rolled on skin. Passed non-irritating and sensitive skin tests, so doesn't cause blemishes. Similar to using cleansing oil, so no real difficulty. Post-rinse finish feels lighter, likely satisfying for oily skin types. [Scent] Many users point this out as a drawback - could be toned down. Personally, I rarely use scented products, so the stronger fragrance is actually pleasant. Fragrance is second to last in the ingredients, so it's quite reassuring to use. Surprised by the slight tackiness when rolling on skin - could be smoother. [Cleansing Effectiveness] Honestly, it can't compete with a cleansing oil and makeup remover combo for full makeup. However, it's sufficient for light sunscreen, eyebrow products, and lightly tinted lip products. Even combination dehydrated skin types can enjoy a non-drying finish. Definitely struggles with waterproof products...
ConsCan cleanse sunscreen and light makeup. However, it feels somewhat tacky when rolling on the skin.
TipEffective in reducing whiteheads and blackheads. Cleanses well, even removing peach fuzz. Gentle enough for sensitive skin. For best results, use in a steamy bathroom during your evening shower, focusing on problem areas with a gentle massage while emulsifying. The lighter feel compared to cleansing oils is its biggest merit. Recommended for those who can't use cleansing oils.

It's about medium-high in strength? When I wiped with cotton or a pad, there was still some makeup residue. Using this alone for one-step cleansing left a slight coated feeling plus a sense of hydration. Rather than having any extraordinary features, it seemed to be a decent, no-frills product.
ConsAt first, you roll it on dry skin without water, but it gradually absorbs into the skin and becomes stiff, so you have to quickly spread it and then immediately add water to continue rolling. This process felt a bit irritating for my sensitive and slightly seborrheic skin. Also, it gave me a feeling of being somewhat overhyped?!

As a Hwahae Tester, I believe in giving honest reviews, even if it means criticizing a product. I've actually written negative reviews for products I didn't like before. This cleanser has a unique application method. Despite its emulsion-like texture that doesn't seem like it would lather, it actually foams up nicely when mixed with water. The cleansing experience feels more hydrating than squeaky clean, but I found it effectively removed makeup thanks to its dense foam. Although I didn't wear heavy makeup often, I appreciated how it kept my skin moisturized whether I used it for my no-makeup days or morning cleanse. It didn't leave my skin feeling dry at all.
ConsInitially, I was concerned that applying it to dry skin might be too harsh and potentially irritate my skin due to the slightly thick consistency. However, I didn't experience any blemishes as a result.

That's why I decided to try this. With my sensitive skin barrier, I typically do a two-step cleanse - first with a mild acidic milk cleanser, then with a gentle foam cleanser. The main advantages of this product for me were its all-in-one convenience and the fact that it contains ampoule ingredients, which left my skin feeling hydrated.
ConsThe texture is similar to a cleansing emulsion, but it felt a bit draggy when massaging it on my skin. I had to add water to make it glide better. While my skin felt soft right after cleansing, as someone with dry skin, it left me feeling a bit too squeaky clean. Maybe I'm just used to slightly acidic cleansers... Although it's marketed as a brightening product, I think it's unrealistic to expect dramatic results from a cleanser alone in that department. I'd recommend this to those who prefer alkaline cleansers and find double cleansing too bothersome.

I was hesitant to use strong cleansers to remove sunscreen when I'm not wearing makeup, but this seems perfect for that.
ConsIt's thicker than I expected. For daily use, you need to roll it, which might be a bit irritating for the skin...

It removes even light shimmer quite effectively. Out of curiosity, I tested it on the back of my hand with gel eyeliner, tint, and shimmer. While the gel eyeliner left a slight residue, requiring a second cleanse with another oil cleanser, the rest came off well. I've included a photo for reference. Although it felt a bit stiff during the initial rolling, once water was added, it produced a lovely, soft lather that I really appreciated.
ConsAs you roll it on your face, it tends to become quite stiff, leading you to use more product than expected. Also, while it's advertised to transform from ampoule to oil to foam, in my experience it seemed to go directly from ampoule to foam. For stubborn makeup like eyeliner or waterproof mascara, you'll definitely need a separate makeup remover. This made me question whether the product truly lives up to its claim of being a 'powerful cleanser'.
TipNevertheless, it does effectively remove light makeup and has gentle ingredients, so those looking for a mild cleansing product will likely be satisfied with this.

I was skeptical about how well it would foam without water, but it surprised me by creating a rich lather. I was really impressed. Cleansing Effectiveness: It effectively removed makeup from my skin, eyeshadow, eyeliner, and lips. It would be great to use even on days when you've only applied sunscreen. I was very satisfied. Skin Feel: After cleansing, there was no deep dryness, which I really appreciated.
ConsI was hoping it would be like a cleansing balm that I could use without water at first, but it felt quite stiff. I ended up just washing with water right away. While it removed most of my makeup, it didn't take off my mascara completely. That was a bit disappointing.
