This is the first non-oil cleanser I've found that even removes waterproof mascara! The scent reminds me of a bathhouse - I personally love it. It's gentle on the skin and conveniently removes makeup in one go. I'm pleasantly surprised by how good the ingredients are, even better than I expected. The price per volume is a bit disappointing. You need to use a generous amount for thorough cleansing, which means you'll likely go through a bottle quite quickly! I thought it was just a regular cleansing foam, but it turns out you use it like a cleansing milk. If you use a generous amount, it's gentle and hydrating. Even after rinsing, my skin doesn't feel tight. While it seems suitable for all skin types, if you're using it to remove makeup, you might need to double cleanse. For things like mascara, you'll probably need a separate eye makeup remover. I've tried so many cleansers, but never settled on one until now. This is the gentlest cleanser I've ever used - it doesn't sting my eyes at all. I can even leave it on while I shower and rinse it off later without any discomfort. The cleansing effectiveness is great too, leaving my skin feeling squeaky clean. As someone with dry skin, other products often leave me with deep dryness, but this one actually leaves my skin feeling hydrated after rinsing. I love that the tightness comes a bit later, so I don't have to rush to apply toner immediately. With other cleansers, I feel the need to quickly treat my skin with toner, but with this one, I can take my time. The pump is a bit frustrating - you have to press it hard, and it feels like it's not working properly. When the bottle is almost empty, the pump doesn't bounce back, making you wonder if it's broken. The sample comes in a regular container, which might actually be better than the faulty pump. While it's great for not irritating the eyes and removing light makeup, it doesn't completely remove very heavy makeup. Review after using up one and a half bottles: The 2-in-1 functionality is fantastic. For a deep cleanse, I apply it to my bare face like a balm cleanser, then emulsify with a bit of water, massaging it in before rinsing. It effectively removes makeup too. For a lighter cleanse, I lather it up in my hands like a regular foam cleanser. One product, two cleansing methods! A colleague complimented the scent when I washed my face at work during overtime. I hadn't paid much attention to the fragrance before, but after that comment, I noticed a strong jasmine scent. It might be polarizing, but I don't mind it. I bought five options during a YouTuber market event and have used up one and a half full-size bottles (150ml) and one sample size (60ml). While I'm fairly satisfied with its performance, I probably won't repurchase after finishing the rest. I'm keen to try something new! I used it almost daily for deep cleansing, but it doesn't manage blackheads and sebum as well as an oil cleanser. When I felt some texture on my skin, I had to use a powder wash occasionally. It gets used up faster than an oil cleanser. When applying to a bare face, it doesn't glide as smoothly as oil, which can feel a bit harsh. It lathers up nicely, and after washing, my skin feels wonderfully hydrated. I also notice a slight brightening effect, and it seems gentle on the skin. My skin is quite dry, but this cleanser works well without causing any deep dryness after washing. Since I don't usually wear heavy makeup, this seems sufficient for my needs. It's a bit disappointing that this Beau Ampoule Cleanser doesn't completely remove eye makeup like eyeshadow or mascara. You'll need to use a separate lip and eye makeup remover for those. When I've only applied sunscreen, I wet my face first, then pump out some cleanser and wash. For days with full makeup, I apply the cleanser directly to dry skin, pumping it out several times and massaging it thoroughly over my face to remove the makeup. It cleanses gently without irritation, leaving skin soft and hydrated. My complexion feels brighter after cleansing. I bought this because it claimed to be an all-in-one cleanser, but using it alone feels somewhat insufficient! For evening use, start with an oil cleanser for your first cleanse, then follow up with this product.
