It has a refreshing herbal scent and gives a slightly cooling sensation on the scalp. The shampoo lathers well, and I feel like it's somewhat reduced my scalp blemishes, though it hasn't completely eliminated them. I managed to buy it at a discount through a deal, but the original price is a bit steep. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinApr 5, 2024
This product is my holy grail shampoo! I'm on my second bottle because it's great for managing scalp impurities like dead skin cells and dandruff thanks to its scalp scaling effect. They say it also nourishes hair roots, which helps prevent hair loss, so I'll definitely keep using it consistently. The rosemary oil leaves my hair feeling soft after washing, making for a pleasant user experience. I also love how it lathers well and has a subtle fragrance. There's nothing particularly disappointing about it, but the slight herbal scent might be a hit or miss for some people. I personally like it, but it could be polarizing. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinJul 19, 2023
I've been using this product exclusively for over 3 years! Finally settled after being a shampoo nomad. With my dry scalp, incompatible shampoos would cause excessive dead skin cells and itchiness. But since Aromatica launched this, it's all I use! I appreciate that they've changed the packaging with environmental concerns in mind - seems like a truly great company. The shampoo lathers well, and I love the pump dispenser - it's so convenient to use. There are no downsides, which is why I only use this product! Though I've noticed the price has gone up slightly over time. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinJul 14, 2023
After using it, my scalp feels refreshed and it lathers up nicely, so you only need a small amount. I have thick, long hair and usually use about three and a half pumps when shampooing, but with the Aromatica shampoo, two pumps are plenty! Since it's a scalp-cleansing shampoo, it can leave your hair feeling a bit stiff after washing, so using conditioner or a hair treatment is a must. Also, I've used another brand's sea salt scalp-cleansing shampoo before, and I got used to the granules. The Aromatica shampoo doesn't have any granules, so it feels like it's not cleaning as thoroughly. My mom doesn't like the scent of Aromatica, so she mixes it with her regular shampoo. (Fragrance preference varies from person to person, and I personally don't mind it.) - Hwahae UserCombination SkinJun 21, 2023
Compared to other products, it lathers up really well, which I love. The fragrance is also quite pleasant. For a shampoo, it's a bit on the pricier side, and the bottle isn't particularly large. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinJun 9, 2023
The scent is pleasant and it's not irritating. It also lathers up nicely. The price is a bit high for the amount you get. While the ingredients are good, it leaves the hair feeling slightly stiff. It might be best to use this with a conditioner or treatment. - Hwahae UserNormal SkinJun 3, 2023
Eco-friendly brand vibe with its packaging. Lathers well, gentle on skin, yet cleanses effectively. Nothing particularly disappointing, but the price is a bit steep. The transparent container looks clean, but the viscous product sticks to the sides, making it appear messy. No other issues. No special tips, just use as normal. - Hwahae UserDry SkinAcne SkinApr 29, 2023
The fragrance is lovely and it lathers well. I got a great deal during a sale event, so I bought a large quantity at a bargain price. Even though I'm thorough about rinsing after shampooing... I developed two blemishes on my scalp. I'm planning to switch to a different shampoo. - Hwahae UserDry SkinApr 20, 2023
1. Lather and Cleansing Effectiveness For a scalp/anti-hair loss shampoo, it lathers well and rinses out easily! With other anti-hair loss shampoos, I often found they either barely lathered or were extremely difficult to rinse out. But the Aromatica Rosemary Scalp Scaling Shampoo was nothing like that! While it doesn't produce as rich a lather as some hair-beautifying shampoos, it was still very comfortable to use. As my skin type has been shifting towards oily, my scalp has become greasier too. This shampoo effectively controlled the excess oil, which I loved! It left my scalp feeling fresh and thoroughly removed all the dirt and residue between the scalp - I'm really impressed! 2. Fragrance It has a refreshing rosemary scent! It gives a sense of freshness while the rosemary aroma seems to neutralize the characteristic odor from the scalp itself. 3. Scalp Exfoliation This was my favorite aspect of using this shampoo! I had bought it in advance before my previous shampoo ran out. Then, when my scalp suddenly developed flakes that were falling off like dandruff, I decided to try this one. After using it just twice, the scalp flakes disappeared completely. I'm not sure what caused the flaking - perhaps it was due to some scalp peeling after bleaching my hair - but thanks to this shampoo, I was able to resolve the issue quickly! It's somewhat pricey I bought the large size on discount, so it wasn't too bad for me. But considering the volume, it's on the expensive side, making it difficult to use liberally. I keep another shampoo on hand and alternate between the two as needed. The price is the only downside! As it's a scalp shampoo, it might feel a bit harsh, but if you follow up with treatment ➡️ conditioner for two more rinses after shampooing, your hair will feel softer! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinApr 8, 2023
I was pleased to see it doesn't contain harsh surfactants, yet it lathers well and leaves my scalp feeling refreshed and clean. The scent is quite polarizing! As someone who enjoys herbal fragrances, I found it not bad, but it might not be for everyone.
