A reliable mask that covers the basics! The ingredients are a bit delicate, and it contains alcohol, so those with sensitive or dry skin might want to avoid leaving it on for too long. Still, I was satisfied with how well it provided basic hydration, refined skin texture, and improved complexion. There's plenty of essence, so you can even apply it to your neck for a thorough treatment! The sheet is quite thin and tears easily. Other than that and some concerns about the ingredients, there's not much to complain about. I noticed the sheet mask tears easily due to its thinness. It might be a good idea to chill it slightly in the refrigerator before use to help maintain its shape and make it easier to apply. - gi*******Oily SkinAcne SkinAtopic SkinSebum/BlackheadsEnlarged PoresJun 22, 2023
This is my first Etude product besides their blushes, and I found it pleasantly easy to use The sheet mask feels slightly smaller in size compared to other mask packs - ye*****Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinAtopic SkinSebum/BlackheadsRecommendedFeb 8, 2023
I want to be clear that this is an honest review without any embellishment, falsehoods, or advertising. Please note that everyone's skin type is different, so my review isn't absolute and individual results may vary. Keep this in mind and use my review only as a reference! This is a review of a product I purchased with my own money. My skin type: Combination dehydrated skin with some oiliness and acne, acne scars, and super sensitive skin! Usage period/frequency: 1 time Ingredients: As shown in the Hwahae app, there are no harmful ingredients and only one potential allergen. I think this makes it quite gentle with good ingredients overall. Scent: It's not unscented, but the fragrance isn't strong. Given that sheet masks stay on the skin for a while, I, being sensitive to scents, didn't find it bothersome throughout use. Texture/Stickiness: It has some viscosity, but it's neither too thick nor sticky. It absorbs quickly when touched with fingers. It's a lightweight ampoule type. Hydration: This product focuses more on hydration than moisturization. It's packed with ampoule, so you can really feel the hydrating effect. Soothing/Irritation: This was my biggest concern, but fortunately, it wasn't irritating and had a soothing effect. I was worried it might cause blemishes or have poor ingredients since it emphasized pearl in the product name, but the ingredients are gentle and it didn't cause any skin issues. Unless you have extremely sensitive skin, I think most people with sensitive skin won't have major problems with it. Absorption: Perhaps due to the 0.2mm sheet, I liked how quickly it absorbed for a sheet mask. Moreover, even without the sheet, the ampoule itself is a very light product that absorbs extremely fast. This would be great for those who want to use a mask but find it annoying to leave it on for a long time, or for those who want to use a mask before makeup on busy mornings. Effects: Since I only used it once, I can't speak to its brightening effects, but I think it would be good for those who prefer non-irritating, lightweight masks. If you're looking for brightening effects, I recommend using this product consistently over time. Repurchase intention: Yes. I loved experiencing the world of 0.2mm sheet masks. It would be great to buy in bulk when they're on sale. One-line summary: A 0.2mm lightweight ampoule mask, non-irritating with quick absorption Recommendation: Recommended for those looking for a lightweight mask suitable for daily use Opening experience: Due to the thin sheet, it's not easy to unfold the mask when you first open it. Moreover, since it's full of ampoule, drops of the essence fall to the floor as you struggle to unfold it. It's good to keep this in mind. Moisturizing effect: It might feel too light for those with dry skin or during the dry winter months. It's a lightweight ampoule type that focuses more on hydration than moisturization. For the same reason, I don't recommend it to those who like to leave sheet masks on their face for a long time. It's a light product with quick absorption. - ch**********Dry SkinAcne SkinRecommendedDec 29, 2022
The hydration is truly abundant. I was a bit skeptical since it's from Etude, but I casually applied the mask and was pleasantly surprised. It deeply replenishes moisture and the effects don't quickly fade away. I think it's perfect as a hydrating mask. I didn't notice the advertised brightening effect. I understand that evening out the complexion might require longer-term use, but it's still a bit disappointing. I highly recommend this as a mask for hydration replenishment! - ww******Combination SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedDec 2, 2022
The mask is thin and slightly flimsy, but it adheres quite well to the skin and has a pleasant scent. Overall, it was decent, but looking at the ingredients here, they're not that great. Wow... When I actually used it, I didn't notice any particular discomfort, and it gave my face a brightening effect. You need to be careful not to get it in your eyes... it stings. If you're cautious about this, it's generally fine. - co********Combination SkinRecommendedNov 29, 2022
The mask is generously soaked in essence and adheres well to the skin, making it easy to use. I'm not sure about the brightening effects as I haven't used it long-term. It seems like a typical, average sheet mask. - im**********Combination SkinRecommendedAug 16, 2022
This mask seems really gentle and fragrance-free, making it comfortable to use without any worries! While it's a low-irritation sheet mask, it's disappointing that the ingredients list contains many components that aren't ideal for sensitive skin. - ar********Dry SkinRecommendedJul 27, 2022
The sheet mask is incredibly thin and adheres perfectly to the skin. It's saturated with essence. There's so much left over that you can apply it to your neck and face, and still have some remaining. There's a slight burning sensation around the philtrum area. The fragrance seems to be rose-like, but it's a fine line between rose and old sweet potato scent, and unfortunately, it leans towards the latter. - u7***Combination SkinAcne SkinJun 28, 2022
I'm seriously ticked off! I got this as a free gift with another purchase, used it just once, and the next day my skin was a total disaster! Absolutely do not use this! I don't even have sensitive skin and usually everything works well for me, but this... After using it once, my face was completely wrecked the next day. Big, red blemishes popped up all over my cheeks. This has never happened to me before! - df*******Dry SkinAcne SkinJun 7, 2022
It felt fine when I first applied it, but gradually my skin started to feel a burning sensation. When I took it off, my face was all red! After using this, my face felt a burning sensation and turned red, which really surprised me. I've never considered myself to have sensitive skin, but this is the first mask that's been so incompatible with my skin. The ingredients in this mask pack seem to be quite irritating. I really can't recommend this at all.
