  Pros

  I've been using this for about 3 months. Usually, I don't expect much from toners in terms of skincare benefits, but I noticed a visible calming effect on my skin on the first and second day. Its water-like texture spreads easily and absorbs well across the skin.

  Cons

  In terms of how it feels, there's not much difference compared to other toners. You can purchase it without any worries.

  Skin Type: My skin is sensitive combination (T-zone is combination dehydrated skin / rest is dry). Application Experience: As someone with sensitive skin that tends to tingle or flush red when ingredients don't quite agree, I was pleasantly surprised that this product caused no irritation at all! Since it's focused on soothing, it really helped calm my skin which has been extra sensitive lately and prone to blemishes. I could definitely feel it working to soothe my skin. In fact, just before receiving this product, my skin was on the verge of breaking out. But after applying it generously morning and night, and even using it as a toner pack, my skin calmed down much faster than usual! The texture is completely watery, but I love how it leaves my skin feeling hydrated when I wipe it once with a cotton pad and then pat in another layer. It absorbs well, leaving just the right amount of moisture. It feels so gentle on the skin and is perfect as the first step after cleansing. Recommendation: If you've been looking for a toner you can use generously without worry, I highly recommend this! It comes in a generous amount, feels comfortable on the skin, provides soothing care while delivering hydration. I think it would work well for all skin types.

  So far, I haven't found any particular downsides! Given its very light toner texture, it's hard to expect long-lasting moisturizing effects.

  This toner seems to have the identity of a 'soothing toner for oily skin'. It absorbs quickly without feeling heavy and helps calm the red inflammation caused by rosacea. With its water-like texture, I use it as an exfoliating toner, and when my skin is in poor condition, I also use it as a hydrating mask. The combination of toner - calendula moisturizer - panthenol ampoule worked well for me.

  There's nothing to complain about. It was just right for my oily skin without being excessive. Those with dry skin might find it a bit drying.

  I wish they'd release a larger size! I've already used more than half the bottle applying it with cotton pads.

  Tip

  I packed the toner and cotton pads generously in a ziplock bag and stored it in the fridge. Before applying makeup, I placed the chilled pads on both cheeks and forehead. It really plumped up my skin with hydration and left a dewy finish, making my makeup go on beautifully.

  This review is from one of The Hwahae Testers! Pros: 1. I absolutely love that the packaging is eco-friendly! It's easy to recycle, so you really feel like you're doing something good for the environment while using it. 2. It's great for soothing the skin! I have dry skin that gets sensitive and rough when it's cold, but when I apply this toner to my hands and let it absorb 2-3 times, morning and night, it really calms any irritation I've been experiencing!

  Cons

  1. Using it 2-3 times both morning and night means it runs out pretty quickly, unfortunately. 2. The water-based formula isn't the easiest to apply with your hands. This makes it feel like you're using up the toner faster! The texture is more suitable for an exfoliating toner.

  Tip

  It works great if you decant it into a mist bottle!
