It's a sweet harmony of subtle mugwort and lavender notes. Plus, it provides excellent hydration - perfect for winter use.
ConsI'm afraid it doesn't agree with my skin. I wonder which ingredient is causing the issue. Every time I use it, I break out in hives. I used it last winter, and the marks still haven't faded.

It's also great at removing dead skin cells. After diligently massaging it in, my skin feels incredibly soft and smooth.
ConsWhile I can eat honey without issues, applying it topically triggers an allergic reaction for me. Since this product contains honey, it caused an allergic response along with some minor blemishes on my body. If it weren't for the allergy, I would have really enjoyed using this product. Such a shame!

The texture seemed to be just right, with minimal irritation.
ConsI'm not sure if it didn't suit me or if it coincided with an allergic reaction, but after use, my chest area became itchy and slightly swollen. This happened twice, so I stopped using it.
TipIf you have sensitive skin or atopic dermatitis, it's advisable to check the ingredients carefully before use!

My skin is extremely dry, with dead skin cells partying on my legs, and my arms have dark discoloration that looks like atopic dermatitis scars. Right after scrubbing, my skin feels incredibly soft. When I immediately apply body emulsion, it feels like all the dryness disappears. However, that's where it ends. After a few hours, my skin becomes dry again. The amount of product is really generous! I'm not particularly small, but I think this will last me quite a while!
ConsPersonally, I found more disappointing aspects than positive ones. Firstly, it stung quite a bit for me. I have rather sensitive skin, and although I heard others used it without issues, it didn't work out for me. When washing it off my arms, it felt like being pricked with needles - it was really uncomfortable. Also, as I mentioned earlier, while it was fine on my legs initially, after just a few hours, all the dead skin cells and dryness came back. The scent is likely to be quite divisive. I usually can't smell much, but as soon as I opened it, I caught a strong mugwort scent. It's not an artificial fragrance, so I was okay with it, but I'm not sure how others might feel about it.
TipHmm... I'd suggest those with sensitive skin to think twice before trying this. I must not be great at taking photos! It looks like there's only a little left, but actually, there's quite a lot remaining. This is the amount used after applying it twice a week for four weeks.

Haven't tried the samples yet. I did try the toothpaste, but it was way too spicy for me - couldn't even chew it properly and had to spit it out immediately. It's as cooling as it is spicy, but still too hot. Also, it might be hard to rinse if you try to use it as a mouthwash. It sticks to your teeth. The scent is decent, not too overpowering - a subtle mugwort fragrance lingers. It's a natural smell that didn't bother me much, but those who dislike herbal scents might not enjoy it. I like that it comes with a spatula in the container. Can't really tell about the moisturizing effect. As someone with extremely dry skin, I usually apply body emulsion right after anyway. There's a definite feeling of softness after use. As for exfoliation? Not sure. My elbows seem smoother? Haven't tried it on my heels. I have some body acne and heard somewhere it might be due to dead skin cells, so I slathered it on my back and chest. Big mistake - the acne got worse for some reason. After that, I only used it on my arms and legs. It seems like a good product overall, but those with sensitive or delicate skin should probably avoid it.
ConsDon't use this on thin skin. Even if you leave it on for a while, it doesn't seem to work well and can cause redness in some areas. Rubbing it right after applying can also lead to irritation and redness. Not sure why, but it just turns red. Every time I use it, I get scratches and redness. The granules are smaller than some scrubs, but they're sharp - that's probably why. However, when massaging with fingertips and water, it dissolves nicely and feels smooth. Conclusion: Try dissolving the salt granules before use. But since they don't dissolve just by leaving them on the skin, rub them in your hands first before applying.
TipIf you leave it sitting, the granules settle at the bottom, making the top pudding-like and the bottom gritty. It's like those old-school hand warmers from stationery stores. So make sure to mix it well before each use. I didn't realize I had sensitive skin, but those with delicate skin should be cautious when using this - it might cause scratches. The granules are sharp, so make sure to dissolve them well before use. I used it after taking a half-body bath, and while the results are good, the process is really bothersome. This review is based on 3 uses over about 2-3 weeks since receiving the product.

Let me summarize the positives: ♡ Gentle on skin I previously used the Salty Honey Body Scrub, but after trying this Mugwort Body Scrub, I'm totally hooked on Sol Therapy scrubs! My skin felt incredibly soft after just one use. With this scrub, I applied it, waited about 5 minutes, then rinsed off - my skin felt so smooth and supple! ♡ Clean ingredients I love that it's free from harmful substances. While scrubs can sometimes be harsh on the skin, the gentle ingredients in this one allowed me to use it worry-free. Plus, it uses salt instead of microplastics for exfoliation - another great point! I accidentally got a bit in my mouth and was surprised by how salty it was! ♡ Effective exfoliation This is perfect for tackling dry, flaky skin in winter. After using it, I noticed a significant reduction in dead skin cells. Of course, don't forget to follow up with a moisturizer after scrubbing! ♡ Handy spatula The included spatula made application super convenient.
Cons☆ Potential irritation As expected, it's best to avoid using this on any cuts or abraded areas. It can sting quite a bit on sensitive skin. When I used it, I didn't think I had any wounds, but apparently my leg had been scraped without me noticing (it wasn't even visible). As soon as I applied the product to that area, it stung intensely. I've stopped using it for now. I suspect the salt in the ingredients caused the irritation. ☆ Scent This might vary from person to person, but it does have a distinct fragrance. I can't quite place what it smells like - personally, I don't mind it, but those with sensitivities might find it less appealing.
Tip○ For best results, apply all over your body, leave on for about 5 minutes, then rinse off. You'll experience even more hydrated skin this way! ○ Using it 1-2 times a week seems ideal. More frequent use might be too harsh on the skin. However, you could probably use it 3 or more times on rough areas like heels and elbows. Of course, this depends on your skin's condition... ○ Don't forget to apply an emulsion after scrubbing!

Among the scrubs I've tried, some left my skin dry after rinsing, but the Salty product didn't leave my skin feeling parched or irritated, which I really appreciated. I was impressed by the thoughtful inclusion of a spatula. With products that don't come with one, I know I should use dry hands, but it's not always easy. This often leads to water getting into the product, diluting it and dissolving the granules, which is frustrating. Using the spatula makes it easy to control the amount, keeps water out, and is more hygienic - I love that!
ConsThe scent is subjective, but I wasn't a fan. Instead of a subtle mugwort aroma, it had a strong scent like crushed grass. I wish it had a more delicate mugwort tea fragrance. At least the lingering scent after use is subtle and okay. As for sensitivity, it seems to be hit or miss, but for me, my skin became more sensitive with continued use. Initially, it was fine, but gradually it felt like needle pricks upon application, and after rinsing, my skin burned as if scalded. I stopped using it for a month to test, and when I tried again, it confirmed that this product was the cause, so I've discontinued use.
TipBefore first use, the product might be quite clumped together, so it's best to mix it well with the spatula. For rough patches or areas with dead skin cells, instead of scrubbing harder, it's less irritating to gently roll it on, rinse once, and then reapply to those specific areas for a second round.
