Wow, it really feels like my face is on fire! It's like being pricked repeatedly with needles. Sometimes the pain is as intense as applying a retinol product. But even though I might jump a bit each time I apply it, I keep using it consistently because it's incredibly effective at eliminating blemishes... I often get annoying blemishes when I'm run down, usually around my chin or mouth area where it's difficult to apply patches. After giving up on patches, I decided to try this product and now I regret not buying it sooner! When applied frequently with a cotton swab, it works wonders. In just one day, an angry red, swollen blemish will reduce in size, leaving only the core behind. I can then either gently extract it or use a patch to remove it completely, without leaving any scars. It's amazing! To be honest, it's not very effective on anything other than inflammatory or cystic blemishes. However, other types of blemishes have their own treatment methods (like regular exfoliation and sebum control), so I'm sticking with this oil and plan to repurchase it every time I run out! While using a cotton swab is more hygienic, I often apply it with my fingers because I have multiple areas to treat.
