The coverage is absolutely amazing, it adheres to the skin beautifully, and applies so naturally. It definitely brightens the complexion, and works wonders even without a base. It's truly top-notch! The quantity is generous, and the puff is delightfully firm and bouncy. I can't really think of any downsides. I wholeheartedly recommend this product! - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinMay 4, 2025
I've been using Javin de Seoul for over a month now. Initially, I experienced some flaking because I didn't prep my skin properly. But once I established a solid skincare routine, including a primer and hydrating serum, it applies beautifully. The coverage is medium, but you can build it up with 2-3 layers or use concealer for areas that need extra coverage without feeling uncomfortable. The staying power is truly impressive. As a student with extremely oily skin, I sweat a lot during PE and get exposed to sunlight, causing my skin to produce excess oil. However, if I notice any shine, I just gently pat with the puff, and it instantly mattifies. I use a spatula brush for application in the morning and only use the puff for touch-ups. It works wonderfully! This cushion might be one to avoid if you have combination or dry skin. It's quite matte and can feel a bit heavy. Even with my extremely oily skin, it can crack and separate if I don't prep my skin properly! Before applying the Javin de Seoul cushion, it's best to thoroughly hydrate your skin with a moisturizing ampoule or mist. For morning application, I find using a spatula brush works best! - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinApr 22, 2025
Here's my honest review of the Javind Seoul cushion foundation! Recently, while looking for a new cushion, I tried the Javind Seoul product because the design was so pretty. The outer case is truly aesthetic. The clean and unique face drawing even made my friends ask what it was! The coverage was better than I expected. It covers blemishes and redness well with one or two layers, and it adheres to the skin nicely without looking cakey. The finish is on the matte side, so it might suit oily skin or summer weather better. It's also great that it doesn't transfer much onto masks. Above all, it's almost fragrance-free, so even those with sensitive skin might be able to use it without issues. I've been using it daily lately as it's perfect for quickly applying before rushing to school in the morning. I'd recommend this to anyone looking for a cushion with a beautiful design, decent performance, and good value for money! Javind Seoul Cushion - A Few Slight Disappointments Overall, the design is pretty and the application feel is nice! It adheres well when applied, and the matte finish suits my combination dehydrated skin. However, there were a couple of slight letdowns. After some time, there's a bit of oil breakthrough around the nose and T-zone, causing the makeup to break down slightly. It's not severe, and touching up once keeps it looking fresh for long-wear days. Also, the pore coverage isn't absolutely perfect. If you look closely, pores might be slightly visible. Still, it gives a natural look when applied lightly, so I was satisfied for daily use! While I generally liked it, those with oilier areas might need to pay a bit more attention for the best results. - Hwahae UserDehydrated SkinAcne SkinApr 9, 2025
As someone with combination dehydrated skin, I tried this foundation for an 8-hour workday without any touch-ups. The staying power is incredible, it adheres well to the skin when applying, and the coverage is excellent. I've only been using it for a short time, but I'm extremely satisfied so far. There might be a very slight darkening effect, but it's not really noticeable. - Hwahae UserDehydrated SkinSensitive SkinApr 8, 2025
The staying power, coverage, and adherence are top-notch for this cushion. It applies with a matte finish but feels moisturizing. During a hectic summer day when I didn't even have time to check a mirror, I worried my makeup might have melted off. To my surprise, it hadn't budged at all and even had a beautiful glow! I loved it so much that I repurchased it twice. However, I switched to a different product because the case wasn't very attractive. In the end, I came back to this one. When a product has good coverage, it's essential to control the amount you use. As someone who struggles with application, I found that simply changing the puff improved the adherence even more. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinApr 2, 2025
It's all great! The coverage is just right, it adheres well to the skin, and doesn't separate. After wearing this to school and coming back, I noticed some blemishes had appeared... I wonder if the ingredients aren't good for my skin? - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinFeb 10, 2025
My skin type is dry. Advantages: 1. Excellent adherence > It applies thinly and sticks like glue with just one dab. You can really feel how well it adheres. 2. Medium to high coverage that naturally conceals blemishes and gives a luminous glow > Though it doesn't fully cover spots or freckles. 3. Great at covering pores. It naturally conceals medium-sized pores well. 4. I love how it naturally blends with my skin over time. It has a beautiful way of settling. Disadvantages: 1. It can be a bit drying in winter > In indoor spaces with the heater on all day, my face quickly became dry and felt tingly > While it might not be entirely the cushion's fault, it's certainly not a moisturizing one. > My mom, who has oily skin, really liked it and used it well. TIP: Applying a thin, glowy base made it much more hydrating and made my skin look better for longer. It pairs well with richer base products. - Hwahae UserDehydrated SkinAcne SkinJan 28, 2025
1. First and foremost, it offers a natural and translucent skin finish. The Javind Seoul Cushion in shade 21 is perfect for those seeking a bright and natural complexion. Shade 21 suits most skin tones, adhering thinly to the skin to create a natural glow as if your skin is inherently flawless. While it provides excellent coverage, it doesn't feel heavy, giving the impression of naturally good skin. 2. Secondly, you can feel the moisturizing hydration. Another major advantage of this product is its moisturizing effect. Many cushions can leave the skin feeling dry, but the Javind cushion absorbs into the skin with a moisturizing feel, maintaining hydration throughout the day. It's especially recommended for those with dry or dehydrated skin. As the skin stays moisturized, it doesn't look patchy or dry even in the afternoon. 3. Third is its longevity and adherence! Its excellent staying power allows you to maintain a clean skin appearance for a long time with just one application, even in a busy day. It also has minimal transfer when wearing a mask, making it practical in current times. Moreover, its good adherence means it blends smoothly into the skin without patchiness, requiring almost no touch-ups. 4. Fourth is its light and clean feel. The cushion itself feels very lightweight, making it comfortable to use without feeling sticky or heavy, providing a fresh finish. Notably, it fades gracefully, so it doesn't look messy even as time passes. 5. Fifth is its stylish package design. The Javind Seoul Cushion also has a sensible and luxurious package design that makes you want to collect it. Its simple yet sophisticated design gives satisfaction every time you take it out to use when going out. Many friends have asked about the product name and where to buy it, saying they love the simple yet clean design! 1. Limitations in coverage As it focuses on a thin and natural expression, it may be difficult to achieve perfect coverage for skin with many blemishes or redness. While it provides some coverage, you may need to use a separate concealer for dark circles or noticeable blemishes. 2. Differences in feel depending on skin type If you have oily skin, you might notice some oil build-up over time. For those who struggle with oil control, it's recommended to finish with powder after using the cushion. Conversely, while it works very well for dry skin, some might find it slightly sticky due to its high moisture content. 3. Price point Compared to other cushion products, it might be perceived as slightly expensive. However, considering its quality and feel, it's certainly worth investing in. 4. Darker than other cushions Not just shade 21, but many of its shades tend to be slightly darker than other cushions, so you might need to buy a shade lighter than usual. I initially bought shade 21, but it was a bit darker than expected, making me wish I had bought shade 20. The Javind Seoul Cushion in shade 21 is an excellent product that adds naturalness and radiance to your skin, highly recommended for those looking for a cushion that combines moisture and longevity. However, depending on your skin type, you may need to make some adjustments or use additional products to supplement coverage. As for the price, I think it's not too expensive and is at an average price point. - Hwahae UserNormal SkinAcne SkinJan 27, 2025
The adherence, color, and coverage were all fantastic for me! I fell in love when I saw how beautifully it maintained my skin's appearance without breaking down, even after sweaty summer activities. Unfortunately, I noticed quite a few small blemishes appearing after using it. If it weren't for that, it would have been perfect. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinJan 27, 2025
Coverage: I think it's among the top cushion foundations these days! I currently have Hera Black Cushion, Amuse Ceramic Cushion, and Fwee Glow Cushion, but this one has the best coverage. Today, after getting an Inmode treatment, the Amuse cushion couldn't cover it at all, which was frustrating. But with just one touch of the Davidsseoul cushion, it covered everything perfectly - it was like finding the light at the end of the tunnel! Adherence: It adheres well with about two thin layers! However, because it has such good coverage, it feels quite concentrated, so if you don't control the amount, it can look very thick ㅠㅠ. Fortunately, the back of the puff has a textured surface that helps control the amount, so I highly recommend using that to adjust how much you apply. Recommended skin tone: I recommend this for those who use shade 23! Overall, Davidsseoul Wink Foundation Pact seems to run about 3-4 shades darker. I usually use 17-19, but I bought this to use around the edges of my face for a bit of contouring, and it's perfect for that purpose! It's also great for covering blemish scars before contouring. I didn't experience any blemishes and the feel on the skin was fine, but the packaging, while unique, looks a bit unattractive. I wish they would change it...
