It's so moisturizing! If you put it in the refrigerator for a few minutes and then use it, it seems to calm down twice as much! The texture is not too heavy or too light - it has the perfect serum feel. 🤓

Personally, I didn't feel that my acne improved much, and I also had some oiliness, so as a combination skin type, when I applied more than two layers, the oil would come up, which was burdensome for me. Even just applying one layer is sufficient.

I bought it because they said it's good for trouble skin! It calms down quickly and makes my skin feel moisturized when I apply it.

First, the ingredients!! I was most pleased with the good ingredients and that it is suitable for acne-prone skin. After using it, there were no special reactions like breakouts or itchiness! The application is smooth, and it leaves a slightly bouncy finish after application. It's a serum, but the formula isn't as watery as water. If you apply it 2-3 times, you can feel a slight stickiness. So for someone like me with dry skin, applying it once or twice is enough to provide sufficient moisture without dryness. Applying it consistently on troubled areas helps to calm them down.
Cons
But I wouldn't really recommend it to those with very oily skin. Those with naturally high oil production may find it a bit sticky! Honestly, it does help calm down sudden breakouts, but I'm not sure if it makes the small, rough bumps disappear. I trust and use Dr. Chu's products. I've been using Dr. Chu's products because I have severe acne, and every time I use them, my skin visibly improves and my acne disappears.
