It's a burgundy and brown-toned eyeshadow that applies beautifully! The color payoff is truly amazing, it adheres well to the skin, and there's minimal excess powder fallout. The pigmentation is quite intense, so it's not a product that requires a lot of building up. Nevertheless, I'm using it with satisfaction. - km***Normal SkinRecommendedOct 6, 2021
The color is rich and elegantly beautiful. It's a deep burgundy shade that's perfect for creating a sultry, sophisticated look. The case is extremely fragile. The transparent plastic part with the MAC logo has already come apart several times. It's similar to Missha's Rose Corsage, but with a more beautiful, reddish hue. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedFeb 25, 2020
First off, I loved that the color has a subtle purple tint without being too overpowering. True to MAC's reputation, the pigmentation was excellent. I was disappointed when it was initially sold as a limited edition, but I was thrilled when it became available again, so I immediately snagged it. As a long-time MAC eyeshadow user, I've noticed their shadows tend to have some excess fallout, and this product was no exception. However, aside from that minor issue, everything else about it was fantastic. For a stunning look, apply a slightly shimmery gold base and blend this product on top - it's absolutely gorgeous!!! - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinFeb 10, 2017
I went to MAC for a makeup test, and the artist used this product. I was mesmerized by how beautiful it looked under the store lighting. My lack of skill means I can't apply it well... When I use it, the color comes out too strong. Oh dear, what should I do? For now, it's just sitting pretty on my vanity. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinJan 26, 2017
It's great for adding a subtle accent without being too flashy! Often, I shy away from bold colors, but this one is different - I find myself reaching for it frequently. What's interesting is how the effect changes depending on whether you apply it once, twice, or even three times! If you overdo it, it might look like you've got a black eye... haha! It could even come across as a bit tacky. As with most things, moderation is key - when used appropriately, each product's unique qualities can really shine. - ok*******Combination SkinSep 1, 2016
This is truly a holy grail product! A MAC employee recommended it to complement the eyeshadow I chose, and I ended up buying it on a whim. I'm seriously grateful to them for the suggestion! I use it as a point accent on the outer corners of my eyes. It's a reddish-brown shade that doesn't feel heavy even when used in summer. I used to use Tempting, but it had a lot of excess fallout and felt too warm for summer, so I only used it in fall and winter. This one, however, is a much fresher brown and has minimal fallout! It's absolutely fantastic. There are no downsides! Except maybe the price being a bit steep... But it's still worth buying despite that! I'm using this along with MAC's All That Glitters eyeshadow. The store employee recommended using these two together, and it creates a beautifully subtle everyday look.
